The atmosphere changed, distorting sensation and perception. Even time and space themselves seemed altered. Her body felt light, surrounded by buildings made of stone and blue crystal in a dome shape. Galenka now sensed she could move with incredible speed, as the laws of physics on Tellus no longer applied in this realm.
Additionally, she felt an overwhelming power flowing within her. It was a strange sensation, as if moving water and burning flame resided inside her. After all, she existed as an avatar in what she thought was a virtual world, but was actually another reality.
"It has been many years since I last played TWOD; it feels even more real than ever before," she murmured to herself.
With a quick glance around her, she could see thousands of people walking back and forth, and many thousands more materialized from blue particles, taking shape into their avatars to interact with their surroundings.
