Valg revealed an absolutely terrifying ability—[The Cursed of Eternal Stagnation]. No matter how many times we defeated him, he would simply rewind time within this area, resetting everything back to how it was one minute ago.
It was maddening.
What made it even more frustrating was that this time reversal only affected our battlefield. I could still see Cain and his team clashing against Zorx at the far end of the boss room. Their fight continued unaffected, as if mocking the endless loop we were trapped in.
Again and again, Freya, Leopold, Luna, and Hendrik's team launched relentless assaults against Valg. And again and again, we forced him to the ground, shattering his massive form. We had already done this five times. But no matter how many times we brought him down, the moment of victory was stolen from us. He would simply invoke his cursed magic, and everything would rewind.
