Chapter 35 - Ying-yang Manipulation

The air hung heavy, thick with ozone and residual magic. When Nador's eyes finally fluttered open, the cosmic blue was brighter, deeper, almost like looking into a swirling nebula. He slowly descended, his feet barely making a sound as they touched the plush carpet. The room was a disaster - shards of glass glittered amongst overturned furniture and scattered belongings.

He ignored the mess and focused inward. The 'Yang Mantra of Life' hummed within him, a low thrum resonating with his very being. He could feel a connection to... something. Something vast and powerful, like a limitless ocean of potential.

"[Host, the system has detected significant changes]," the system chirped, its usual mechanical tone tinged with something resembling awe. "[New abilities unlocked. New pathways identified. Host's potential has increased significantly.]"

Nador flicked his wrist dismissively. "Stats."

He stared at the 'Astronomical' potential rating, a slow smile spreading across his face. "Astronomical, huh? Not bad for a five-year-old virgin… well, former virgin." He chuckled. His hand instinctively went to the area 'down there,' a wry expression on his face. "So, I still got my equipment? Good. Wouldn't want to trade that in for some Yin energy just yet."

"System, explain Yin-Yang Manipulation and… Spiritual Senses." He commanded, pacing the room, his bare feet crunching on the broken glass he barely registered.

[Yin-Yang Manipulation allows the host to manipulate both Yin and Yang energy. Currently at "Novice" level, manipulation is limited to rudimentary control and sensing. Further training and comprehension of the 'Yang Mantra of Life' is required to unlock advanced abilities. Spiritual Senses allows the host to perceive spiritual energy, entities, and disruptions. This ability can be used to detect hidden presences, analyze energy signatures, and gain insight into the spiritual realm.]

Nador rubbed his chin. "Spiritual realm, huh? So I can see ghosts? Creepy." He paused. "And the Yin-Yang, I can feel something… warm, almost oppressive, and then… cold, strangely comforting. Is that the Yin and Yang?"

[Affirmative. The warm sensation is the Yang energy, the cold is the Yin. The host is advised to meditate and refine his understanding of these energies for optimal control.]

Without warning, Nador gasped and staggered, clutching his head. Images flashed before his eyes – swirling vortexes of light and shadow, faces he didn't recognize, fleeting glimpses of battles fought and worlds unseen.

"What the hell was that?!" He demanded, his voice tight with alarm.

[The system believes the host has experienced a glimpse into the 'Yang Mantra of Life's' vast knowledge. This is not a common occurrence at the novice level. The host possesses an exceptional aptitude for Yang's energy.]

Nador took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. He had a feeling his life had just taken a very significant turn. He looked around at the destroyed room, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Well, first things first," he said with a grin. "Let's see what this Yin-Yang thing can really do. System, how do I clean this mess with my new powers?"

The system, perhaps sensing the impending chaos, responded with a hint of trepidation. [The host could attempt to manipulate the individual particles of the shattered glass using Yin energy for precise reconstruction—]

"Nah, sounds boring," Nador interrupted, holding out his hand. A playful, almost reckless energy began to form around him. The air crackled. "I'm thinking more along the lines of… Windstorm of Cleansing!"

Before the system could object, a miniature tornado erupted from Nador's palm, swirling with raw mana and a chaotic mix of Yin and Yang energies. Glass shards, overturned furniture, and stray books were swept up into the vortex, spinning around him like a miniature, destructive hurricane.

"[Warning! Host's control of Yin and Yang energy is unstable! Potential for catastrophic damage is high!]" The system frantically warned, but Nador was too caught up in the spectacle to listen.

"Whoa! This is awesome!" He cackled, his blue eyes gleaming with delight as he danced around the room, guiding the swirling vortex with his hand. The tornado grew larger, more chaotic, sucking up dust and debris with a ferocious appetite.

Suddenly, the playful energy shifted. The tornado began to flicker, the Yin and Yang energies within it clashing violently. The wind became erratic, blasting debris against the walls with renewed force.

"Uh oh," Nador muttered, his smile fading. "Maybe I should have listened to the system."

He tried to reign in the tornado, to separate the warring energies, but it was too late. The Yin and Yang had reached a critical point, a volatile equilibrium threatening to explode.

With a deafening roar, the tornado imploded, collapsing in on itself in a blinding flash of light and a shockwave that sent Nador flying across the room. He crashed into the far wall, narrowly missing a sharp piece of broken glass.

When the dust settled, the room was... cleaner. But also significantly worse. The few remaining pieces of furniture were now splintered into kindling. The walls were scorched, covered in black streaks. The air hung thick with the smell of ozone and burnt wood. And Nador was sprawled on the floor, covered in soot, his hair singed, a dazed expression on his face.

"Well," he said, coughing, "that could have gone better."

The system, sounding thoroughly exasperated, chimed in. "[The host is advised to prioritize controlled manipulation over impulsive experimentation. Damage assessment: severe. Estimated repair cost: exorbitant.]"

Ignoring the system's scolding, Nador slowly pushed himself to his feet. He looked around at the utter devastation, a slow grin spreading across his face.

"Okay, so maybe I'm not ready to be a master cleaner just yet," he admitted. "But hey, at least it's… memorable." Or so he thought. He surely knows the wicked side eye the head maid would toss his way the moment she walks through that door. A diabolical moment.

He glanced at the charred remains of a once-elegant bookshelf. "And besides, now I have a really good excuse to get a new one."

[I believe you are squatting up on your Mistress castle.]

"Okay, I'm going to ignore that."

He straightened his singed robes, brushing off the soot. "System, pull up the shop interface. I think it's time I invested in some… explosion-resistant furniture... And shoes."

As the system obliged, displaying a dizzying array of magically reinforced tables and chairs, Nador couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. He had just experienced the raw power of Yin and Yang, and despite the chaos and destruction, he knew he was on the path to something extraordinary.

He turned back to the shattered window, gazing out at the verdant landscape beyond. The castle guards were still milling about, their faces a mixture of concern and bewilderment. He winked in their direction, causing a few of them to visibly jump.

"Okay pause! I'm just greeting you f*cking pervs!!" Nador yelled with steam seeping out his ears. Barring his teeth to the two weirdos who understand nothing about male culture.

"Oh!! You call us perverts? After sexually harassing us by that unfiltered left blink of the eye!" One guard said.

"Yeah! And put some damn pants before you go about looking out the window!!"

"I knew you were jealous with that attitude!!" Nador mocked as he tightened his grip on the waistband of his heart shaped boxers. Quite comfortable.
