Any task involving mud is bound to be messy, so when Tim Payne left the greenhouse, it was inevitable that his clothes and shoes were speckled with mud, looking rather disheveled, given that he was the one doing most of the dirty work.
"Is it funny?" Tim raised an eyebrow at her.
"Not really." Cressida Jones was seeing Tim Payne in this state for the first time. After all, the image of Junior President Payne in her mind had always been him dealing with jewelry and gemstones, so seeing him covered in mud was quite a contrast.
"Tim, you've worked hard today. You must have sweated a lot, right? You guys probably still have a date to go on, so quickly take a shower and change your clothes."
Old Sir Hale looked very satisfied while tidying up his freshly cleaned vegetable garden.
As Tim went to shower in the guest room, Zoe Payne instructed William Hale to bring over some clothes.
