Keera Olsen strode confidently towards old Mr. Martin and looked him directly in the eye, "I'm not late, am I?"
Their agreed-upon time was ten in the morning.
Old Mr. Martin said, "No, you're not."
Keera Olsen nodded in response.
Old Mr. Martin began to lead her into the house, with Lewis Horton and Holly Sims following right behind them.
No one stopped Lewis Horton, but when Holly Sims tried to enter, she was blocked by Vera South, "This person belongs to the Special Division. Old Mr. Martin, are you sure we can allow her to be here during our transaction?"
Before old Mr. Martin could speak, Keera Olsen immediately retorted, "Aren't we here to do a DNA test today? That's not illegal, right? Why can't she be here? Or are you planning to engage in some illegal transactions and are afraid that she might witness it?"
This sharp counter-question choked Vera South.
