"I... I got caught when I was about to call for help. And... and... and I didn't arrive early as well; that's the reason," Noll stammered nervously.
Bunny's eyes narrowed tightly as she opened her mouth to speak when Lily's voice echoed.
"Why does she look familiar?" Lily moved closer to her and inspected her.
Noll's heart raced. "Why... why am I scared of her? She's just a soft female that I can easily break; there's no need to be afraid of her!" she thought, trying desperately to calm herself down. But instead of relaxing, she felt even tenser, as though a simple fright might cause her to die immediately.
Lily continued to inspect her closely, and Devin could only rub his forehead, wishing he could eliminate Noll right then and there.
"Angel," he called softly, attempting to get Lily's attention. But who would have thought that as soon as he spoke, Lily's knitted brows cleared, and she cast him a murderous glare while pointing at Noll.
