Lily turned back and saw Angus walking closer to them. She noticed that her children seemed scared of Angus and couldn't help frowning. "How on earth have you been treating my children? Why plant such fear in their hearts?" she scolded.
Angus's gaze fell on the little boy who was hugging Lily tightly before shifting his attention to her. "Um... I didn't do anything, you know. I was just joking with them; they were the ones who took me seriously," he remarked, smiling warmly at Lily.
Lily gently stroked the little boy's hair as well as Snow's hair. "Don't be scared, babies," she smiled kindly.
The little boy in Lily's arms looked at Angus, and a small wicked smile appeared on his face. His gaze was clearly filled with provocation.
Angus met his gaze, and his expression turned colder. "You've got some nerve now, haven't you?" he thought, casting him a murderous glance.
