[Analyzing Host's body...]

[Host has minor bruises and is in poor mental condition. Activating healing factor.]

Various glowing texts flickered in and out of existence, illuminating the endless void with their blinding brightness, the only source of light in the darkness. They were close to Dom's face, disorienting him. His mind rang incessantly, yet somehow, he could still comprehend the messages before him. Slowly, he pulled himself up from the ground, shaking off the dizzying sensation.

The moment his mind cleared, memories surged forth, none of them were your usual Teletubbies memories. No, instead, it was the image of Daniel's severed head that replayed.

The sudden recollection sent him collapsing to his knees, his hands clutching his head. His thoughts were blank, but the tears flowed freely, vanishing into the abyss.

"How could he kill him?!" he cried between sobs and gasps. "DIE! HE NEEDS TO DIE!!!"

[Hidden condition met.]

[Return to Shadow. 1/7 shadows returned.]

[Host is experiencing extreme anger. Aggressive mode activated.]

The texts flashed simultaneously, reigniting the void with their eerie glow. Then, after the final message, his vision darkened, this time, not the abyss of nothingness, but the darkness of unconsciousness.

Blonde stared at Daniel's lifeless body, yet no satisfaction came. He had killed him, but what good did it do? It wouldn't bring Audrey back. He felt a brief flicker of relief at having enacted his revenge, but he knew it wouldn't last, it would always be overshadowed by Audrey's absence.

Removing his gaze from the corpse, he turned to Dom. The boy was still crying, his eyes almost lifeless. Blonde felt no pity. Why should he? Dom had chosen to associate himself with a murderer. There was no need to torment someone who might not have known Daniel's sins, it was better to end it quickly.

Blonde conjured another wind blade, ready to finish the job. Then, suddenly, a chill ran down his spine.

His body refused to move.

Only his eyes obeyed, shifting to seek the source of the fear. And then, his gaze landed on Dom.

Or at least... what had once been Dom.

He no longer looked human.

His head resembled that of a bulldog, his hands morphing into clawed paws, unnaturally elongated. Both his monstrous face and sharp claws seemed sculpted from pure darkness, their ghostly edges emanating a sinister aura. Blonde forgot to breathe the moment they locked eyes. If they could even be called eyes—those empty, black voids.

He was frozen, paralyzed.

Then, the beast vanished.

A bloodcurdling scream rang out.

Blonde whipped around. One of his companions was stumbling back, his entire arm missing. His wide, terror-filled eyes stared in disbelief as blood gushed from the wound.

Limbs began flying. Blood painted the forest.

(A.N: Someone play me an orchestra.)

The blonde -if he could still be called that- frantically scanned his surroundings, desperate to predict where the creature would strike next. And then it appeared. Right in front of him.

Panicked, he jumped back, hurling wind blades at the beast. With a single swipe of its paw, they were destroyed.

The monster let out a low growl, making his blood run cold.

Dom wanted to speak, but his monstrous form stifled his voice. Annoyed, he cleared the black substance from his mouth and finally spoke:

"Any last words?!"

The blonde only kept quiet as if he hadn't heard the question. Seeing that he didn't take the bait to speak, Dom swiped his paw and the blonde was decapacitated.

After killing the blonde, he reverted back to his former shape and scanned the area around him. A nauseous feeling arose from his stomach, causing him to puke out all the contents in his stomach. The scene was too bloody. so many corpses with their limbs and head detached while still having a look of horror on their face was too much for a firs timer to handle.

'What have I done?' The thought reverberated in his head.

[Beginning replay of memories...]

With that, his vision went dark once more.

......

"Its too cold."

A young boy said, as the cold wind blew against his skin. His feet dug into the ice as he took a step forward. The boy was barely 9 years old and had striking blonde hair that the snow had problem covering, a cute oval face that had an uncanny resemblance to the blonde that had killed Daniel. His clothes worn and looked more liked rags, his lips dry due to the cold and lack of water.

"Anders can do it momma." he said, his expression was determined as he tried to motivate himself to move forward. he held his hand tight to feel his mothers warmth but ended up digging into his own skin.

"Mother?" feeling the lack of warmth, he turned back and could only see the white colored snow that covered him in a blizzard.

"Mother!!" he called out but received no response. He suddenly felt weaker. His mother presence gave him the strength he need to move forward, but now she was gone. The fear of the unknown wrapped itself around like a blanket, making him shiver more than before.

"Why is this happening?" he eyes welled up but no tear fell down since they were immediately frozen by the cold. If not for the jacket the wore, he would have frozen to death long ago. Although worn, they still served their purpose even if it was a bit weaker. The jacket obviously has a feature that resists cold

After spending some time being scared, he quickly made up his mind and decided to search for her. he didn't know how long she had left his side and the snow may have covered some of her tracks, so he would be walking blindly, but he couldn't just leave her to die. With his mind made up, he turned around and walked forward.

........

He wasn't sure how much time had passed from the moment he turned back, but the white hazy environment had turned darker.

'Is it night time? Just how far did I leave her behind' beads of sweat began forming around his body but were frozen immediately. It was safe to travel in the morning but at night, it was more like a death wish. Night wolves were a set of generic experiment conducted decades ago. Scientists had decided to combine the genes of a bat and a wolf and this was the result, a set of animals -artificially created animals can't be beasts- that the advantages of both a wolf and bat at night made it conquer the night. During the day, they were easier to kill.

*HOWL

Anders froze. The howl was extremely loud and for it to be loud, then -

'It has to be close!!'

(Thank you Anders for completing my sentence😒)

Not wanting to wait for a confirmation, he immediately sprinted as fast as he could but he wasn't fast enough, due to the pile of snow covering his knee below and also lack of nourishment for the past several days.

A.N: A bad place to end a chapter but I'm to lazyyyyy.
