Chapter 3 - Chapter 1 Fang Che_3

"Someone else?"

Brother Su's eyes bulged in astonishment.

"Of course!"

Fang Che was perfectly composed.

He had remembered the Thousand Poison Demon King he had eliminated in his previous life.

Suddenly, he understood the other party.

With the cultivation of the Thousand Poison Demon King, he was virtually invincible in the Bibo City area, or rather, within thousands of miles around!

Releasing just a little poison was enough to devastate an area of a thousand miles.

That's why he had chosen to set up his lair here—there was no threat!

But now for me... heh heh...

The repayment to Second Young Master Su, wasn't it coming now?

Thousand Poison.

Extremely cunning!

Meanwhile, Su Yue immediately perked up. Had he been deceived? It wasn't the Golden Saber Martial Commander?

The Fang Family was genuinely like old silver coins!

They could actually deceive others so well.

No wonder no one had received any concrete news for so many years; it was all fake!

"Isn't the location said to be in Duan dao Gorge, three thousand miles away? How can it not be..."

Su Yue's confusion was actually further probing.

"It's not! You've all been deceived; it's not Duan dao Gorge either!" Fang Che asserted categorically, "This is a smokescreen; the Fang Family has always used this claim outwardly."

Su Yue felt a towering surge in his heart.

This is false too?

"What exactly is going on?" he asked eagerly.

"I didn't quite understand, but I vaguely heard my uncle mention something about a mountain within a thousand miles..."

Fang Che pretended to be deep in thought, recalling, "It seems like it was the legacy of the Absolute Sword Monarch; not some treasury. I went there a few times but didn't find anything. Moreover, that place is full of poisonous creatures, extremely dangerous. One time, I even encountered a Grandmaster level venomous snake and had to return empty-handed."

Su Yue was overjoyed.

A legacy!

That was even more precious than hidden treasures.

And it belonged to the Absolute Sword Monarch.

That was much higher than the Golden Saber Martial Commander Level.

What's more important was that with just these words from Fang Che, he had virtually revealed all the news!

Absolute Sword Monarch, legacy, within a thousand miles, mountain, full of poisonous creatures, extremely dangerous, Grandmaster level venomous snake!

For an old Jianghu, this was basically pointing out the location!

"Are you speaking the truth?!"

Su Yue asked excitedly.

"I don't know about that; I overheard it while I was unconscious, and I can't guarantee its validity. The moment I opened my eyes, my uncle stopped talking."

Fang Che was evasive, spreading his hands apologetically, "We'll need to carefully verify this and investigate slowly. Or perhaps wait a while longer, I'll confirm the authenticity of this news again."

In his heart, he thought, I've made it so obvious; if you can't find it, what a waste.

On the other side, the more Su Yue thought about it, the more he felt that there was truth to this matter.

The more he thought about it, the more excited and eager he became.

Turning his head to look at Fang Che, he felt smug inside.

Did this naïve kid even realize how much of a secret he had revealed?

Hahaha…

This trip was worth it.

With that thought in mind, he was ready to leave.

But how could Fang Che let him just walk away?

The Five Spirits Gu and the Yixin Token represented something; how could he, an old Jianghu, not know?

Fang Che casually mentioned, "Ah, that Yixin Token... did you really find it?"

"Could I lie to you?"

Su Yue produced an Iron Token from his bosom.

Fang Che naturally accepted it.

Su Yue: ??

Why did he take it so casually?

Upon seeing the Iron Token in his hand, Fang Che instantly understood.

It was indeed the lowest Summoning Token from the Wei Wo Zheng Sect, an organization that wreaked havoc in the human world.

To think he had encountered an old rival.

Did the Wei Wo Zheng Sect want to summon this lad? Or did they have other designs?

Fang Che had battled against the Wei Wo Zheng Sect alongside his brothers in his previous life, and he knew full well the power of this organization.

The most difficult aspect to deal with was their mystery! As long as their true colors weren't revealed, nobody would know they were from the Wei Wo Zheng Sect.

On the surface, they could be martial artists, Great Scholars, Pill Masters, or even common folk...

Their disciples were scattered all over, spread across the land like stars in the sky; the eruption of any single one could be a disaster.

The entire history of the continent was nearly a chronicle of wars against the Wei Wo Zheng Sect.

These people were staunch believers, gathered with many experts, extremely difficult to deal with, and impossible to fully eradicate.

Xue Fuxiao, one of the three great Guardians, had even once lamented: Without an internal collapse, to completely uproot the Wei Wo Zheng Sect was almost hopeless!

Not just hopeless, but they had even grown stronger over time.

In recent years, the Wei Wo Zheng Sect's power had grown so vast that they could rival the Guardians and even slightly surpass them.

Once they transitioned from shadow to open light, it was feared that an upheaval of humanity could ensue overnight.

The Guardians had dispatched countless spies and elites to infiltrate their ranks but to no avail, and exposure led to vicious retaliation from the Wei Wo Zheng Sect.

And the Yixin Sect was one of the subordinate sects of the Wei Wo Zheng Sect.

A thought flashed through Fang Che's mind: An internal collapse?

In-fighting?

A sudden insight sparked in his mind.

The Yixin Token?

The Five Spirits Gu?

He casually pocketed the token, saying, "Much appreciated, Brother Su."

He knew Su Yue would have to report back to his family about the Absolue Sword Monarch's heritage site and would surely follow any expedition searching for it.

How could Su Yue let go of such a monumental opportunity?

In that case, not a single person who went would come back.

I might as well keep this token for myself, to be safe.

Su Yue, seeing Fang Che pocket the token, was a bit stupefied, but considering he still had to ultimately lead him into the sect, it was fine for the time being.

Besides, he was now too impatient.

"Well, Brother, I should take my leave first, Mister Fang. Take care, and I'll come to see you in a few days."

"Okay."

Fang Che pondered and then said, "I'll gather more information during this time, and next time, we can go search for this legacy together. Maybe I can also benefit from it."

"Good! I'll be waiting for you."

Su Yue laughed heartily.

But his heart was contemptuous.

You want to follow along?

That belongs to my family!

You fool, the Fang Family treated you so well, and yet you turned against your own grandfather's family after just a few words of my cajoling; you deserve to be used!

"Brother Su, have a safe journey."

"No need to see me out; your information today has been useful."

"Don't mention it; this is a small token of my gratitude for the many years Brother Su has looked after me." Fang Che had a half-smiling expression.

Su Yue chuckled heartily and turned to leave.

Fang Che's face bore a faint smile as he watched Su Yue exit.

His expression was unfathomable, his lips slowly curving into a smirk.
