This time, it wasn't the same uncle Susan who had welcomed Brian before, but a strange old man with silver hair.
The old man was around 1.8 meters tall, with an upright figure, dressed in a military uniform, his face flushed, and his brown eyes bright and piercing.
If it weren't for the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes and his full head of silver hair betraying his age, he would look about thirty years old.
Behind him stood a row of twelve armed soldiers, their status evidently not low.
Upon seeing Brian,
the old man curiously sized him up for a moment and immediately smiled as he approached, "Hello, Brian, I am the Deputy Minister of Operations, you can call me Xide."
"Hello, Minister Xide!"
Brian shook his hand, his attitude humble and his words filled with tact.
"Let's go, there are some procedures before the promotion ceremony," Xide led the way. "By the way, Brian, have you ever crossed paths with the top agents of the Federation?"
