"Shi San, where's Brian?"
Susan stretched lazily, feeling an incredible comfort throughout her body as energy surged continuously, her condition surprisingly good.
She hadn't slept this comfortably in a long time.
Shi San flicked its tail, tossing a wad of paper to Susan.
The moving paper ball, in Susan's eyes, seemed to fly toward her in slow motion.
She grabbed it with her hand, caught it precisely, and unfolded it to see a segment of handwritten text that was quite pleasing to look at:
"The attack has been handled by the organization.
The Blood Association should offer compensation, remember to ask Tom for an Enhancement Reagent to repair bodily injuries.
I injected you with the two Activation Reagents that were compensated earlier.
You inject Shi San.
I have received the organization's annual dispatch task, and I need to leave Los Angeles for a few days. I hope to return in time to spend our first Christmas together.
-- Your loving Brian."
