A young Uchiha member was preparing to defect.
Because he had recovered memories from his previous life and realized he was in the Naruto world.
Unfortunately… Itachi was 13 years old this year. Anyone who had watched Naruto knew, he massacred the clan when he was 13.
So he had no choice but to run. If he didn't flee now, he'd be going down with the rest of the Uchiha.
"Time to dip, time to dip!" He grabbed his ninja tool pouch and suited up, planning to take on a mission outside the village and use it as a cover to escape from Konoha.
But just as he stepped outside, he suddenly froze in place. There was a fresh scent of blood in the air. The usually lively streets were eerily quiet today—no sound, no voices.
"No way…"
His expression stiffened instantly. He slowly looked in a certain direction, his instincts screaming danger.
And sure enough, about sixty meters away, in the direction he was looking... A young man with deep nasolabial folds had just stepped out of a clan member's house, blood dripping from the ninja blade in his hand.
It was his grim reaper... Itachi.
Tonight was the night of the Uchiha massacre.
"…Haha, guess this life's over too." The light in his eyes faded as he returned to his home like a walking corpse.
He didn't even have time to run.
---
In the distance, Itachi had also noticed the clansman.
He frowned slightly and retrieved the intel on this clan member from his memory.
"Junichi. 15 years old, chunin, hasn't awakened his Sharingan. No threat."
With that confirmed, his expression returned to indifference.
Just a mediocre clan member, nothing worth worrying about. As for why Junichi didn't try to run upon seeing him?
He didn't care either. When the time comes, he'd just use genjutsu to interrogate him quickly.
His eyes narrowed, the three tomoe spinning and transforming into a giant windmill shape.
Boom!
A deep wave of ocular power surged out like a tide.
In the next house, another clan member with three-tomoe Sharingan, clutching a ninja blade, looked on in shock.
"Mangekyō!?"
---
Back home.
Junichi lay on the couch, hands folded, eyes blank. He was preparing to welcome death with peaceful sleep. There was no way he could fight back.
Unless… he got a cheat right here and now.
Ding!
Suddenly, a mechanical prompt sounded in his mind.
"What the hell?"
He jolted upright, eyes wide in shock.
"Am I hallucinating? A genjutsu?"
"Kai! Kai! KAI!"

In an instant, a flood of unfamiliar information filled his mind.
"It's not a hallucination! Holy crap, I got my cheat!"
Junichi's spirits soared as he quickly sorted through the new information in his head.
---
[Multiverse Travel System:
1. Can freely travel to other worlds. Current bound world: One Piece.
2. Time in the original world stands still during travel.
3. Upon arrival, the host will experience world rejection, changing the flow of the era or obtaining too many resources increases rejection. At the limit, forced return will occur.
4. There is a cooldown after each travel while space-time stabilizes.
[Proficiency System:
1. Skills are displayed as panels.
2. Proficiency is gained through practice or learning. Maxing it out levels up the skill.
3. Skill levels are: Beginner (0/100), Skilled (0/1,000), Mastery (0/10,000), Expert (0/100,000), Transcendent (0/1,000,000).]
---
"So that's how it is…"
In no time, Junichi nodded in understanding. He had already figured out how the two systems worked.
He immediately used his thoughts to summon the system panel.
Zing!
A semi-transparent screen appeared in front of him, only visible to himself.

Junichi stared at the skill list, and the corner of his mouth twitched.
Looks like a lot, but it was all low-tier stuff. And the highest proficiency he had was just in the "Skilled" tier.
"My talent is seriously garbage..."
With that, Junichi shut off the panel—out of sight, out of mind. He decided to put the Proficiency System on hold for now. There was no time to grind proficiency anyway.
System, I want to travel! Junichi said in his mind.

Well, there really wasn't much of a choice here. Junichi rolled his eyes and selected One Piece.
[World Selected: One Piece!]
[Begin travel?]
Yes!
[Travel starting!]
Shwoosh!
---
A bright light filled Junichi's vision, and everything around him disappeared.
In the next moment, he was hit by a dizzying sensation, as if the sky and earth flipped. His whole body plummeted downward.
Splash!
He landed straight into cold seawater, sending up a splash.
"What was that?" From a nearby medium-sized sailboat, two men poked their heads out. They held oil lamps and scanned the sea in the dim light.
But they didn't see anything.
Junichi had already slipped underwater with lightning-fast reflexes.
On the surface, only the ripples remained, gradually fading away.
"Did you see anything?" one of the men asked.
"Nope," the other shook his head.
They exchanged a glance and shrugged, pulling their heads back in.
"Probably just a dolphin or something."
"Yeah, those things don't fear humans at all."
They didn't take it seriously and left soon after.
As their footsteps faded, Junichi slowly surfaced, gathering chakra in his hands, and used the "tree climbing" technique to stick himself to the side of the ship.
What kind of garbage travel method was that? Luckily it was not a volcano.
He was speechless. If he'd reacted even a little slower, those guys on the ship would've caught him.
Better figure out what kind of ship this is first. He remained extremely cautious.
The One Piece world was a chaotic place. Who knew what kind of ship this was? What if it was a pirate ship, or belonged to the Celestial Dragons, or the World Government?
Running into the wrong one could be a disaster.
I need to gather intel first.
With that in mind, he used chakra on all four limbs, clinging to the hull of the ship. Like a gecko, he began to quietly climb upward.
