Medicine King Valley's terrain was extremely perilous. From high above, it might not seem an overly complicated landscape, but this was merely a superficial impression. If one ventured only into the center, it wouldn't be so challenging, for that area had been thoroughly developed by the human race and was dotted with buildings—the control center of the entire Medicine King Valley, seeming on the whole to be terribly mistaken at first glance.
Medicine King Valley wasn't as simple as it appeared to everyone. Although there were always those who would stealthily enter the valley to exploit its precious herbs for sale to the common folk, making a profit. Such behavior was, of course, unacceptable, yet these culprits weren't strictly punished. One reason was the ongoing war, where their presence could potentially save more lives under certain circumstances.
