They had always feared causing unnecessary trouble and had not made it public, but at this point, they had no other choice. They had to speak the truth about what was really happening, because it required a resolution.
So now they truly began to address the issue, for if the blessings from the skies continued to diminish and more of their people lost the effort of flying, it would represent a substantial problem. Without the ability to fly, it was akin to not having life, so the issues they had continuously hidden or avoided had reached a point where they could no longer continue.
Every day was different, and time indeed brought about circumstances they could no longer ignore. If it hadn't been for being alone in another world, they might have thought of some other solution and certainly wouldn't have ventured out to negotiate alone. Because among their ancestors, those who split from the main group naturally led most people to regard numbers as a dreadful entity.
