"Complaint?"
Master Xiang looked at President Chen in surprise.
"President Chen, you told me that the ghost haunts the building because of an accidental death due to medical malpractice... You didn't tell the truth, and now you want to complain about me?"
"You took the money, so does it matter why it's haunted? Just do what you're supposed to do! Tell me, did you or did you not take the money? Shouldn't you be doing your job?"
President Chen spoke with righteous indignation.
"I did take the money, but last time, I already suppressed the ghost, and you agreed and paid the final installment after that!" Master Xiang was so exasperated that his voice involuntarily rose.
"Today is a different matter and should be handled separately. I came to help when I saw your urgency, but you are being utterly unreasonable!"
The female ghost in the operating room was banging on the door.
Sharp, cold winds rushed out in gusts, making three yellow talismans flutter and rustle.
The female ghost could burst out at any moment.
Feeling guilty, President Chen blurted out without thinking: "What do you mean by calculate separately? If you had really done the job properly, would that female ghost still be appearing? I'm telling you, if you get rid of that female ghost today, that will be the end of it. If you dare to leave, I'll go to the Mystic Sect Association for justice!"
"You!"
Master Xiang's chest heaved violently, his beard skewed with anger.
He really wanted to drop everything and leave right away.
But he had paid the price of a pair of legs to connect with the Mystic Sect Association, and he was worried that if someone really went to the Mystic Sect Association and talked nonsense, it would affect his reputation.
"Shopkeeper Lu, you've seen this; this person is completely unreasonable! Could you please lend a hand?"
After some thought, he decided to swallow his anger for now and looked at Lu Fei with a bitter smile.
The vengeful spirit of this female ghost has doubled, likely reaching the level of a malevolent ghost. He couldn't handle it alone and had to seek help from Lu Fei.
He had witnessed Lu Fei's capabilities and was certain that with Lu Fei's assistance, they could subdue the female ghost.
"Master Xiang, I'm sorry, I can't help with this!" Lu Fei refused outright, "Rest assured, the Mystic Association is a place of reason. It's not about doing whatever he wants! This plastic surgery hospital is committing murder for profit. If you really help him, wouldn't you be aiding an evildoer?"
Master Xiang's brow twitched. Those in the feng shui business most dread getting entangled in karmic retribution.
If he were to aid an evildoer, it would be one thing if he did so unknowingly, but if he did it knowingly, it would harm his moral character.
"Manager Lu speaks the truth!" After weighing the pros and cons, Master Xiang clasped his hands in a salute to Lu Fei, "If Vice President Xu asks, please testify on my behalf!"
"Certainly!"
Lu Fei hadn't expected that the feng shui array here was set up by Master Xiang. He had broken the array, causing trouble for the other party, so it was only right for him to say a few words.
"Thank you! I will take my leave now."
A weight lifted off Master Xiang's heart. He had no desire to endure the arrogance of President Chen and immediately had his assistant push him away.
"Master Xiang, stop right there! If you dare to leave, I'll call and file a complaint against you right away!" President Chen threatened, waving his phone.
"Go ahead!"
Master Xiang, pushed by his assistant, left without looking back.
"Get back here..." President Chen was fuming with anger.
Lu Fei thought to himself, this man is both foolish and greedy, daring to offend the master who sees things.
There are a hundred ways for the master to take revenge on him in secret.
"Master Xiang is still too kind. If it were someone with a worse temper, they would have released the female ghost on the spot, and see how he deals with that."
"Where did you people come from? How dare you ruin my business!"
President Chen turned his aggression towards Lu Fei, pointing at him menacingly.
"What did you say?"
Lu Fei leaned against the doorway, his hand resting intentionally or otherwise on the crumbling yellow talisman.
The female ghost in the operating room, though no longer ramming into the door, fixed her bloodshot eyes intently on President Chen.
He was afraid that as soon as the yellow talisman fell, the female ghost would immediately rush out to settle scores with him.
"You, you wait for me!"
President Chen, his face drained of color, left these threatening words and fled the hospital in a panic, almost tripping over himself.
"What rubbish!"
Lu Fei sneered.
The reason he didn't immediately tear off the yellow talisman was because they were still waiting for that pale-faced man to show up; otherwise, how could that fat man have had the nerve to bluster?
"Hmm?"
He was about to return to his office when he felt the black umbrella on the side of his backpack stir.
He stopped to take a look.
Strands of Yin energy surged toward the umbrella.
"Can the Yellow Spring Umbrella absorb Yin energy?"
Lu Fei raised his eyebrows, curiously observing for a while. He noticed that as the Yin energy was absorbed, the originally old-looking Yellow Spring Umbrella seemed to regain its color.
"So, Yin energy can nourish the Yellow Spring Umbrella!"
This discovery thrilled Lu Fei.
Before, he had been distressed by the black umbrella turning old, not knowing how to fix it. Now, he realized that absorbing Yin energy could do the trick.
However, ordinary Yin energy probably wouldn't work; it needed the level of Yin energy from a vengeful spirit.
"Quite an appetite!"
The Yellow Spring Umbrella only absorbed energy for half a minute before stopping. The color improved, but it still wasn't enough.
The yin energy here has suddenly become much weaker, the female ghost in the operating room has disappeared and must have hidden somewhere.
"Looks like I need to go find more evil spirits at the vengeful ghost level!"
Lu Fei happily patted the small black umbrella and silently made up his mind.
Patter, patter.
At this moment, footsteps came from the direction of the main entrance, and a young man with an oily face entered.
"Doctor Wang?"
He was dressed in brand-name clothing, very fashionable, with Bluetooth earbuds in his ears, hands in his pockets, humming a song as he walked in. Seeing the empty hall, he stopped abruptly.
"Damn, where is everyone? What's going on today?"
Lu Fei sent a message using Wang Qiang's phone.
"Office, hurry up! The rich lady won't wait!"
The man quickly glanced at his phone, a lecherous smile spreading across his face, and then familiarly headed towards the office area.
"It's really him!"
After the young man entered the corridor, Lu Fei closed the main door with a smile.
Office.
"Old Wang, where is he?"
The young man pushed open the office door and, upon looking up, was stunned.
A woman was sitting in a chair, her back to him, only her wavy hairstyle visible.
Could this be the rich lady?
The young man ran his hands through his hair and approached her.
"Miss, may I ask for your name?"
The chair turned, and a ghastly pale face confronted him.
The smile on his face suddenly froze, and he instinctively took a few steps back.
"You, who are you?"
"Forgot me so soon?"
Li Feifei smiled eerily as she rose from the chair, step by step approaching the young man.
"Ruan Bowen, how heartless you are! How long has it been, and how many rich lady friends have you made already?"
"You, you... It's impossible..."
His pupils constricted violently, and the young man retreated, his face full of disbelief.
"You've got the wrong person, I'm not Ruan Bowen..."
He turned to run.
The office door slammed shut.
The one who closed the door was Wang Qiang.
Apart from him, there were also two unfamiliar men. One was tall and looked like he was not to be trifled with; the other appeared refined but seemed even more formidable.
"Wang Qiang, what the hell do you mean?"
