The two days of dates had concluded – the first day with Theresa, the second with Himeko. Naturally, the third day would be with both of them together.
Remarkably, last night wasn't spent being completely squeezed dry by Himeko. It seemed Theresa, despite her appearance, was indeed more eager in this regard than Himeko.
Or perhaps it was because Himeko frequently took care of her own needs, making her desires less intense than Theresa's pent-up ones?
Jun An, not being female, wasn't particularly clear on the specifics, but what was clear was that Theresa had definitely accumulated considerable tension.
"Speaking of which, shouldn't you only be 'dining under the table' during dinner time?" Jun An frowned helplessly at Theresa, who was demanding her 'Jingzhou' (吃到荆州) first thing in the morning.
Though his recovery ability had indeed improved somewhat, his stamina regeneration was still frustratingly slow, yet she would drain him whenever she had the chance.
"Don't be so stingy," Theresa looked up at the Captain. "Besides, there must be some left over from last night, right? What if you went to relieve yourself in the bathroom? I don't want to be NTR'd by a toilet."
What an interesting perspective.
"Then by that logic," Jun An countered, "for those who use tissues to handle it, is it the girlfriend being NTR'd by the tissue, or the tissue being NTR'd by the girlfriend?"
"Don't ask me, just know that whenever you need to release, you should call for me," Theresa leveraged her knowledge of Jun An's past indiscretions and continued, "No matter how far, as long as there's a spatial anchor point, Seele can help transport me there."
Although Kiana had merged with all thirteen Herrscher powers, including the Origin, Seele's situation was similar to Bronya and Mei's – it was only a spiritual merger. After transferring the core powers to Kiana, she still retained some of her abilities.
Therefore, with the current Seele being somewhat sentimental, bribing her with just a box of instant noodles or some soda, chips, and snacks could get you direct transport worldwide – much more efficient and cheaper than plane tickets.
Of course, getting caught without proper entry documentation afterward would escalate the problem far beyond the cost of a plane ticket.
After helping Theresa rinse her mouth, she finally seemed satisfied. She helped zip up the Captain's pants as she crawled out from under the table.
"Whew, I'm exhausted."
Theresa took a sip of bitter gourd juice and sat in her designated spot. It had been quite challenging for her smaller frame to accommodate the Captain without accidentally scratching him with her teeth; she often had to rely on technique that left her tired. Only lubricant and the bitter gourd juice made the process more comfortable.
Jun An looked at the breakfast, identical to yesterday's, and focused on eating to replenish the energy just lost.
"So what's your date plan for today?"
Though Jun An could guess – yesterday was Himeko, the day before was Theresa, so today would likely be both of them together.
Well, eating comes first, eating is important.
As Jun An predicted, today was indeed planned with both of them.
However, unlike the previous two days, today Theresa and Himeko intended to stay at home.
After breakfast, Jun An lay listlessly on the couch, waiting for whatever the day held.
"Captain, make some room."
But Theresa wasn't in a hurry to initiate anything intimate. Instead, she took out her laptop to work.
"What are you doing?" Jun An curiously moved closer. Although he had helped manage Schicksal's Far East Branch before, he hadn't seen the workload of Schicksal's Overseer up close.
"Helping Amber arrange meeting procedures, checking Schicksal's financial flows, and sorting through Grandpa Otto's projects."
Theresa showed Jun An the computer, explaining, "These are all urgent matters for Schicksal now, but most things requiring personal attention have been delegated to Amber and Durandal."
Jun An looked with interest. Despite his tendency to slack off, tackling this management work after a year's gap felt somewhat fresh.
"Artificial Stigmata technology, Herrscher cloning project..."
Jun An scanned the pile of Schicksal's human experiment funding records, which even included numerous transactions with various nations, signing agreements to help other countries create Stigmata-awakened individuals and similar ethically dubious ventures.
Overall, Otto had done quite a number of profoundly unethical things. Just the human research expenditure took up two-thirds of Schicksal's budget, with a corresponding two-thirds of the income derived from these human experiments.
Theresa frowned as well. "Grandpa Otto left behind a massive mess before rushing off to merge with the Imaginary Tree. The personnel involved are numerous and intricately connected, making it extremely troublesome to deal with now."
The human trading with nations could be cut off completely, but the core issue lay with the internal human research matters. Many projects couldn't have been accomplished by Otto alone; numerous important Schicksal scientists must have been involved.
These scientists were mostly crucial talents for Schicksal, but distinguishing between those merely following orders and those who participated willingly was incredibly difficult. This required a lengthy investigation process.
Although the relevant inhumane projects had been completely stopped, the personnel review hadn't been fully completed even after a year.
Theresa's guiding principle was to be as benevolent as possible – trying not to wrongly implicate any good people while ensuring no truly bad ones escaped justice. This put her in a constant dilemma during the review process.
"Those who knowingly committed crimes are easier to handle – just arrest them. The problem lies with those whose complicity is unclear."
Theresa sighed helplessly. "Examining them one by one is really troublesome. And after the review, we still need to arrange new work for them to prevent them from defecting and causing more problems elsewhere, potentially joining factions like World Serpent."
Although what Otto did wasn't humane, it was undeniably "useful" from a certain perspective. If those scientists experienced in human experimentation were recruited by organizations like World Serpent, the consequences would be severe.
Theresa didn't dare tell Seele the full details of these matters, fearing she might angrily teleport all the involved personnel to the bottom of the ocean or into deep space, leaving no traces or evidence behind.
Jun An roughly reviewed Theresa's follow-up procedures. The process itself had no issues; the bottleneck was the painstaking triple-review process to determine individual "innocence."
"Let me help you then."
Seeing that the work didn't seem to require overly complex strategic thinking, and having nothing better to do, Jun An volunteered.
"Really? That's great! You can choose whatever position you want later!"
Theresa immediately pushed the computer in front of Jun An and pulled up a file. "You finish these first, I can work on my phone!"
Having the Captain do work when there's work, and doing the Captain when there's no work – what kind of ideal life is this? Theresa thought gleefully.
"Just saying," Jun An added as a condition, "after I finish the work, you can't do me anymore today."
Theresa immediately snatched the computer back.
"Never mind then! I'll do both... no, I mean, I'll handle the work myself, and you can... do me."
