The sounds of the window shattering near his ears echoed loudly like the sound of plates breaking. Sebastian barely felt the pain in his arm from the sharp glass cutting his skin before it fell to the floorboard.
The swift smell of blood enters through his nostrils. That's when he glanced downward and realized that his arm was bleeding. Sebastian narrowed his gaze and dug out the glass stuck in his arms without any hesitation.
He could feel the throbbing pain, but he didn't let the pain stop him. Blood dripped over his hands, and he almost felt faint, but he pushed back down the feeling.
