Chapter 33 - 37

Time slipped away from her unnoticed. The sun descended beyond the horizon, leaving streaks of crimson and gold that gradually bled into the darkening sky. The glow of her phone screen flickered on and off beside her, notifications piling up. Missed calls. Messages. All from Amy.

But she was too immersed in her own world, along with the voice of her favourite artist that she simply slept off.

Her words trailed off into furious, incoherent yelling as the officers began leading her away.

"Seems like the crazy runs deep in that family," officer B commented out.

Lucas also glanced at Gianna with a hint of sympathy. "Had she always been like this?"

Gianna refreshed her memory and was silent for a while.

They were probably worse.
