Ash's body jolted with excitement. It's been a while since he spent some time with Huxian. Back when he was still a fledgling phoenix, he did nothing but read mountains of books in his bedroom.
"Training?" Ash spread his wings wide.
"Yes, my dear disciples. That also includes both of you." Huxian glanced at Yinghui and Shanguang alternately.
"Us?" Shanguang tilted her head.
"Yes. Any objections?"
"Of course no! I would love to be trained by you, Grandmaster!"
Seeing Shanguang's cute, sparkly eyes, Huxian couldn't stop pampering the young Ligress. And of course, Shanguang deserved all the love and attention after everything that she had been through.
"Very well." Huxian clasped her hands from Shanguang's fur which began to shed as she grew bigger and stronger.
