With his health dropped far below half, the Greater Glug recoiled back, and his chest expanded. A bone-chilling roar burst out of his rotten maw. Shin could feel his muscles tense up, his bones ache, and his hands growing numb. The once light-as-feather shortswords in his hands felt as heavy as boulders, and his head looked down with a dead stare.
Sacha was the same, her armor suddenly felt several times heavier and she couldn't move an inch, her sword dropped to the ground, it's tip digging a hole in the stone floor. The Greater Glug's arm was already racing toward her head.
A splash of rotten blood painted the walls. Ase had jumped down from the Greater Glug's head and slashed his biceps open in an attempt to stop him. But for an undead, it didn't really need muscles to move. An undead was a corpse that was being moved by magic. Unless you shatter its bones and destroy its structure, it'll move just fine.
