Now walking into the forest, Shin headed deeper and deeper with Arianell, Effile, and several more armed pixies that all sat on his head and shoulders. If anyone saw him, they would swear he was surrounded by tens of butterflies. But in fact, those were pixies, and powerful ones at that.
What shocked Shin more was that Effile wasn't just anyone, but the Grove's scout. Her wood magic and power were known through the whole Grove, and all of the soldiers respected her as if she were some kind of general. A part of that, without her, most of them might've perished in the woods, ambushed by a monster they never noticed.
The pixie's power quickly showed itself to Shin when she ordered everyone to stop. Right in front of them, a massive iron bear is now feasting on a deer it slayed. They need to circle around to avoid a direct confrontation.
