Chapter 190
"This is it, Alpha," the warrior said, stopping in front of the cave. Callum had managed to escape through this cave. It had been abandoned and sealed for years, with not even a bird passing through. Cain stepped closer, studying the cracked walls. Callum had been planning this for a while.
"And this was just discovered? That's why no one saw him use the borders."
"Have the men go out and patrol the grounds, although I doubt he's still anywhere nearby. He's far gone."
"Alpha," another warrior called out, rushing towards him with his hand outstretched. "I found this. I think he used this to escape."
"Coal? What would he need coal for?" Nathan asked.
"To mask scents. Judging by the size of the wall he took down, he wasn't alone. Someone helped him. The question is, who is Callum working for now?"
Cain turned to leave…he had little time to work with. "Gather the warriors now. I'm having a brief meeting with them."
