Amelia let out a sigh as she turned to look at Blaze, who was now staring directly at her as if asking her what the problem was. His gaze was gentle and filled with so much love, that it made Amelia's cheeks give off a warm pinkish glow.
She blinked twice at him and it seemed he understood her as he smiled reassuringly at her while giving her the okay signal.
"Thank you." Amelia's lips moved without saying anything and he gave her a short nod of the head, meaning you are most welcome.
Turning to look at her father whose face was slightly flushed with jealousy, Amelia said in a rather cheerful voice.
"All right let's go and sit down."
The senator looked at Blaze whose attention was now facing forward and shook his head. He could tell his daughter was deeply in love with him, seeing how his mere presence or voice affected her behaviour. He wanted to believe that Blaze loved Amelia as much as he loved his late wife. He couldn't bear the thought of him hurting her ever.
