Chapter 271: Chinjao Unwillingly Enters the Battle

"Gehahahaha! You all love ganging up on me, huh? Then bring it on! Let's see who survives in the end!"

Shiki roared, facing both Roger and Garp at once.

The last person who forced Garp and Roger to team up… was their former captain, Rocks D. Xebec.

Now, it was his turn.

"This is insane!"

Redfield stood on a wrecked ship, watching the three battle in the sky.

"So this is a battle at the top?

"If they are this powerful… then what about Rockefeller Charlotte?"

After six years of training, Redfield suddenly felt a little unsure.

He had returned to honor his six-year-old promise—a rematch against Charlotte.

But in these six years, he wasn't the only one who grew stronger.

"Die! Die! Die! Just die already!"

Shiki swung his swords wildly, unleashing a storm of flying slashes.

Roger and Garp were barely able to block them.

Shiki had the home-field advantage—his Float-Float Fruit allowed him to fly freely, while Roger and Garp had to kick off the air to reach him.

"This lunatic!"

Roger glanced at his half-shaved mustache, cursing under his breath.

This was even worse than fighting Rocks!

Garp said nothing, his fists smashing through wave after wave of flying slashes.

Meanwhile, a fleet approached from the distance.

No, not just one ship—it was a whole fleet.

Seven or eight large warships sailed forward, their sides lined with cannons.

"Boss! We've spotted a huge battle ahead!"

A lookout in green robes reported to a towering figure standing at the ship's bow.

The man was over five meters tall, his forehead shaped like a cone.

However, a deep, gruesome scar ran from the tip of his forehead down to his chest.

"Gahahaha! Boys! It's time to loot the battlefield!"

The massive man, dressed in a green silk robe, roared.

He was Chinjao, the former leader of the Happo Navy.

Five years ago, Charlotte defeated him with a single slash, leaving him unconscious.

But after being spared, Chinjao rebuilt his forces.

For five years, he roamed the New World, avoiding major powers like Shiki, Roger, and Whitebeard.

Instead, he raided weaker forces, growing his fleet from two ships to eight.

With over a thousand crew members, the Happo Navy had become a force to be reckoned with.

But they never claimed territory—they raided and ran, avoiding conflicts with top pirates.

This was why big names like Shiki ignored them.

"Ohhh! Ohhh! Let's loot them!"

The Happo Navy cheered, raising their weapons.

Looting battlefields was their favorite tactic.

As the ships sailed closer, Chinjao grew uneasy.

From here, he could clearly see the fighters—

Shiki, the Golden Lion

Roger, the Pirate King

Garp, the Marine Hero

A mysterious young swordsman

Chinjao broke into a cold sweat.

He had just raided one of Shiki's strongholds in the New World's first half.

And now, he had run straight into Shiki himself!

"Turn around! NOW! This is not our fight!"

Chinjao shouted.

His crew wasn't stupid—they saw the battle's destruction and trembled in fear.

They quickly adjusted their course to retreat.

"Interesting… trying to run?"

Redfield smirked.

He wanted to test their strength.

"Crimson Slash!"

A blood-red flying slash cut through the air toward the Happo Navy.

Chinjao's eyes darkened as he glared at the mysterious young man standing on Shiki's ship.

"Bastard! What's the meaning of this?! Hasshoken: Head Drill!"

Chinjao's head turned jet-black as Armament Haki covered his cone-shaped forehead.

He charged forward, smashing into the incoming slash.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Chinjao felt a heavy force pressing down on him.

"RAHHHH!"

He roared, using all his strength to deflect the slash upward into the sky.

The attack vanished into the clouds.

Chinjao stared seriously at the young swordsman.

"Who are you?! Why did you attack us?!"

For once, he didn't underestimate his opponent.

Redfield smiled faintly.

He slowly pulled out a crumpled, water-damaged bounty poster.

"Patrick Redfield, the Red Count. Bounty: 1,080,000,000 Berries."

Chinjao's eyes widened.

1.08 billion?!

He swallowed nervously.

His own bounty was only 580 million.

This young man's bounty was 500 million higher than his!

Chinjao's tone grew cautious.

"What do you want?"

Redfield's smirk vanished, his eyes turning cold.

"What do I want?

"I want to kill you… or be killed by you."

His killing intent surged.

Redfield's frustration was at its breaking point.

He had entered this battlefield, hoping to prove himself.

But reality slapped him in the face.

Both Shiki and Roger overwhelmed him with pressure.

Then, that damn Marine—Garp.

He had underestimated a mere Vice Admiral… only to be beaten senseless.

The worst part?

He couldn't do anything about it.

Now, he was full of rage with nowhere to vent.

And then…

Chinjao showed up.

To Redfield, this was a perfect punching bag.

He rushed forward, his umbrella slashing at Chinjao.

"Scarlet Strike!"

A crescent-shaped slash flew toward Chinjao.

"Damn it! He's serious!"

Chinjao gritted his teeth.

There was no escape now.

"Fine! Let's fight!"

His body tensed, his fists clenched, and his head gleamed with Haki.

The battle intensified once more.
