Chapter 46 - Chapter 45: Departure from Whiskey Peak

Zoro prepared the Going Merry while the rest were arriving.

"Get on! We're setting sail right now," Zoro said, already on the ship.

"Are they still asleep?" Luffy asked, seeing Sanji and Usopp knocked out.

"Come on, we don't have time to stay here any longer!" Zoro shouted, urging them.

"Wait, Karoo is still missing," Vivi said, unable to find a duck.

"Are you talking about him?" Zoro asked, pointing at the duck next to him.

"What?!" Nami and Vivi shouted angrily.

"He was already here when I arrived," Zoro emphasized.

"Let's go! If we set sail now, we might be able to ride one of the river currents and escape faster!" Vivi said.

"Hey, how many are going to chase us?" Luffy asked.

"I don't know. Baroque Works has 2,000 members, and I've heard there are several towns like Whiskey Peak in the area," Vivi tried to answer.

"Then maybe hundreds will come after us!" Nami said, thinking about their pursuers.

After several minutes, Sanji and Usopp woke up, startled to find they had already left Whiskey Peak.

"Hey! What's going on?! We've already set sail?! Let's stay another night! It's a fun place, and the women are sexy!" Sanji shouted, trying to make them turn back.

"Yeah! Do you think there are better places than this waiting for us?! We're pirates, let's enjoy this! The sun hasn't even risen yet! Are you hearing me?! Turn the ship around!" Usopp shouted, just as desperate as Sanji.

"Fun? I'll show you what's fun," Oliver said, going after them and giving them a beating, leaving them partially knocked out.

They left the island, finally passing through the mist, feeling relieved to have escaped.

"You need to be careful not to hit the rocks with the ship. Well, at least you've escaped," a mysterious woman said.

Everyone turned to where the voice came from and saw a woman with black hair, blue eyes, dressed in a leather outfit. The top was a purple corset exposing part of her torso, a miniskirt of the same color, along with a cowboy hat.

"Where is Mr. 8, Miss Wednesday?" the mysterious woman asked.

"You're the one who did that to Igaram!" Vivi said, realizing who she was.

'Nico Robin. It would be strange if I knew her,' Oliver thought.

"I don't care, I just want to know why you're on my ship!" Luffy shouted.

"Why are you here, Miss All-Sunday?!" Vivi shouted angrily.

"Who is she?! And what number does she have?!" Nami asked.

"Mr. 0! She's the only one who knows the true identity of the Boss, so we followed her. That's how I discovered the Boss's name!" Vivi explained.

"Oh, I actually let you follow me," Miss All-Sunday said.

"Hey, she's a good girl," Luffy said, not understanding the situation.

"I knew it! And then you informed the Boss that we knew, didn't you?!" Vivi asked.

"Ohhh, she's a bad girl!" Luffy said.

"What are you trying to achieve?!" Vivi asked angrily.

"Hmmm... You were so serious that I had to cooperate a little. It's so ridiculous that a princess thinks she can become an enemy of Baroque Works and save her country," Miss All-Sunday said mockingly.

"Shut up!!" Vivi shouted angrily.

When Vivi realized it, Sanji, Usopp, Zoro, and Nami had their weapons pointed at Miss All-Sunday.

"Hey, Sanji. Do you know what's going on?" Usopp asked, aiming his slingshot.

"I don't know. But it looks like this woman is dangerous for Miss Wednesday," Sanji said, pointing a pistol at her.

"Would you mind not pointing those dangerous things at me?"

When Miss All-Sunday said that, Sanji and Usopp fell from the second floor, and Nami and Zoro dropped their weapons.

"A Devil Fruit?!" Zoro asked.

"What kind of power is that?!" Nami asked.

"The Hana Hana no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants the ability to sprout multiple body parts," Oliver explained.

"Well, so you know about this Devil Fruit," Miss All-Sunday said, impressed.

"And I know many more," Oliver said.

'What an interesting guy,' Miss All-Sunday thought. "Don't get so worked up. Right now, I have no orders, so I have no reason to fight you."

In an instant, she took Luffy's straw hat, making him furious.

"So, you're the Straw Hat Captain, Monkey D. Luffy," Miss All-Sunday said.

"GIVE ME BACK MY HAT, YOU WITCH!! YOU WANNA FIGHT?!" Luffy shouted angrily.

"You're unlucky. You have a princess whose life is threatened by Baroque Works, and the princess is being escorted by a very small number of pirates," Miss All-Sunday said, looking down at them.

"But the worst luck of all is the island that the Log Pose is pointing to. That island is called Little Garden. You probably won't make it to Alabasta. Even if we don't attack you, you'll be destroyed before you even see Crocodile," she told them.

"Anyone can pretend to be brave. If you knew the difficulty of what awaits you, you wouldn't be so sure about moving forward," she said, tossing a Log Pose.

"An Eternal Pose?!" Vivi said, surprised to see the object.

"You can skip all of that. This needle points to an island right before Alabasta. It's a route that none of our members know, so they won't follow you," Miss All-Sunday explained.

"What? Why is she helping us?!" Nami said, confused.

"Obviously, it's a trap," Zoro said.

"Could be," Miss All-Sunday said, staring at them.

Vivi was trying to figure out what kind of trap Miss All-Sunday had set by giving them a Log Pose, but before she could think, Luffy grabbed the Eternal Pose and smashed it.

"Are you crazy?!" Nami yelled, kicking Luffy in the head. "She gave us a fast way to get there! What if she was actually on our side?!"

"That doesn't matter! You don't decide this ship's route!!" Luffy shouted at Miss All-Sunday.

"Oh... Too bad," Miss All-Sunday said. "I don't forget people like you. We'll meet again, if you survive."

Miss All-Sunday jumped off the ship onto a turtle, moving away from the Going Merry.

"Well done, Luffy. It could have been a trap where hundreds of ships were waiting for us," Oliver said, placing a hand on Luffy's shoulder.

"Hey! Can someone explain what's going on?!" Usopp shouted, looking for answers.

Oliver had to explain everything to Sanji and Usopp so they could understand what was happening and what they were going to do.

"I see. Well, that's bad. But I'm sure we can handle it," Sanji said, smoking. "Alright! Now that this sleeping knight is awake, I promise you'll always be protected."

"Good thing I was sleeping!" Usopp said, relieved.

Everyone started talking about different topics, which seemed strange to Vivi, as they didn't seem worried at all.

"Hey!! Is it going to snow?" Luffy asked.

"Well, it's not that it never snows here, but the first stretch of ocean is special. The seven magnetic fields extending from Reverse Mountain change everything," Vivi explained to everyone. "So don't let your guard down. It's rare to have such violent journeys as the last one, but remember this: this is the hardest ocean to navigate. The golden rule is this: Never underestimate the sea!"

While Vivi was explaining, Sanji went to the kitchen to make different desserts.

"Hey, idiots! Want to try my special drink?!" Sanji asked.

"Yes!" everyone shouted, annoying Vivi.

"Can you believe it?! They don't care about anything!" Vivi shouted.

"Does it matter?" Nami said, handing her a dessert while eating one herself. "They know what to do when the time comes."

"Well, I guess... But they seem completely carefree!" Vivi said, somewhat frustrated.

"Relax a little. Your worries will fade away. That's just how this ship is," Nami said with a smile.

The ship was lively, which made Vivi's worries fade a little.

"Look, everyone! A dolphin!" Sanji said.

Everyone saw the dolphin, marveling at it, until it started getting bigger and bigger.

"It's gigantic!" Usopp shouted.

"Alright! Positions!" Luffy shouted.

Everyone got into position to overcome the challenge and continue on their adventure.
