But some teachers of these 'water classes' really love to call roll. Even though their lectures are just rehashing the PPT, they insist on making their presence felt by taking attendance every class.
Miss roll call, and there goes your participation grade; fail that, and you've failed the course!
Luckily, Lin Shuang has never encountered such teachers.
Even his Ancient Literature History professor had told them before the first class,
"I never take attendance in my class. If you all don't want to come, then it reflects on my teaching. Forcing you to sit through my dull lectures doesn't make sense."
