After dinner, Lin Shuang and Xia Yubing stepped out onto the restaurant's terrace to enjoy some dessert.
The view from the terrace was more expansive, with Hai City's neon skyline strikingly filling Lin Shuang's field of vision.
"Would you like this kind of life, husband?"
Xia Yubing's voice was sweet but not cloying, much like the ice cream cake in Lin Shuang's hand.
Tasting the smooth and fine texture of the small cake, Lin Shuang replied, "I'm pretty go-with-the-flow... As long as I'm with the people around me, anything is good."
He leaned back in his chair, lazily gazing at the light-polluted night sky.
