The next day, Li Sea, southern waters
Above the calm sea surface, shadows of ships suddenly appeared, yet their actual presence couldn't be traced on the water; as if they existed only in the reflections on the sea.
Mirrored ships had three thick masts attached to somewhat tattered pure white sails, and from the sides of the cabins, riddled with holes from corrosion, protruded cannon barrels that had yet to be withdrawn.
Atop the leading ship, near the bow, stood an indistinct sculpture of a figure whose hands cradled something, trailing a length of gauze behind, and even as a stone figure, it conveyed an elegant demeanor.
But then the reflections in the water became even more real, as if reflections and reality had switched places. The Brave Ship appeared from the void, crashing heavily onto the sea, shattering the peacefulness of the ocean with the spray it raised.
