"Done. We set out three days from now to slay the Red Dragon and loot its lair."
This village lies beyond the forest; there used to be another one, but it was so small and weak that it collapsed at the first assault of the Gnoll warband. It's still the same tavern where the Human Warrior and his remaining two companions recited the story that took place in the village head's house.
"Do we have to let the Red Dragon live for three more days?" The Half-Elf Ranger clenched his fists and pounded the tabletop.
"Three days is not a lot of time; everyone needs to prepare," the Human Warrior patted the Half-Elf Ranger's shoulder, signaling him to be patient, "The Spear Crossbows are fixed in place; they need to be dismantled and attached to wheels, and also fitted with chains, so when it hits the Red Dragon, we can pull it down from the sky. Plus, Priestess Freya has gone out and won't return until tomorrow."
