"Kill him already!" Darius yelled, frustrated by the sight of his guards failing to kill the human."Stop him before he gets near and bring the weapon to me."
Darius pulled his horse away, trying to get further behind his guards.
He had found what he was looking for, but there was something off about how the human moved. If he didn't have good eyesight, he would have guessed it to be a vampire taking down his guards.
"What is he?" Darius wondered, trying to place what had happened to the human.
This strange sight was a good reason to lock the humans away, as he planned. The others were foolish not to believe in his plans, but the priest fighting his way through the guards was what Darius needed as proof.
Darius got down off his horse, deciding to be the one to deal with the priest. Joining the fight should end all talk that he was a coward.
Darius was never afraid. He simply stood back since a king didn't need to lift a finger when he had so many guards around him.
