"What are you wearing?" her eyes twitched and it took all in her to not growl at him. Damon looked ignorantly at his tattered old stable's boy uniform and then at her with such naivety that she laughed.
"Was it not your idea to wear such clothes for the night market?" as if he had finally noticed that she was exasperated.
"I am a commoner! You are a duke!" she pointed at herself and then looked at him. "If you go to the royal palace dressed like this. They will make fun of you." she glared at him but he just smiled making her fume. Did she look funny? "You can not wear this, Damon."
"And why does it irritate you?" he raised a brow, amused. But his eyes had a look that burnt her cheeks. "You are not a commoner, Olivia. Not that it matters, but you are daughter of a baron and sister of a duchess. Why do you care about me, your enemy?"
