As they were fastening the final clasps in the gown, Arella looked up at Velmoria through the mirror, "How are the coronation preparations going on your end."
"The food list you prepared was approved by the chefs in the kitchen your highness. The produce is being purchased today, perhaps you can go have a look in the evening?"
"Alright, what about the decorations?"
"Also purchased, they have begun changing some of the old furniture already, and the maids are working to clean the palace before the coronation day."
"You work so effortlessly." Her words were an obvious complement.
"Thank you. When you work for so many years, you get used to it." Velmoria accepted her complement with a wide grin.
After seeing the dress on Queen Arella, it was of no doubt to Velmoria that the king had picked this dress to show the queen's brother that she was now a demon queen, not just an angel that he could come and collect whenever he wished. The king truly was calculating.
