"Athena, can you please help me? This is too hard," Chione complained, her pout managing to look indifferent.
Dinner had just wrapped up in the Franco household, and everyone was satisfyingly full. Chase, though he had to cheat slightly with his powers, too cook venison well—he'd only done it once before, after all.
"Chione, why would you start a puzzle in the first place?" Athena sighed, putting her book down and rising from the couch to assist her at the desk.
Suddenly, Artemis shot up dramatically. "Okay, that's it!"
Everyone turned toward her in confusion, heads tilted even Elisabeth who was doing work. "What?" Elisabeth asked.
Artemis pointed accusingly at Athena. "You and Chase are turning into the same person. You sigh almost as much as him! Think about our children—what if they grow up sighing every other sentence?" Her voice turned theatrical as she imagined the dreadful future.
