"Well I'm sure he has a good reason for being torn," I shrugged hoping I was providing some comfort. "As long as he isn't treating her badly. You know because she's pregnant or whatever."
"Pregnant or whatever?" He chuckled. "At least you're trying."
"You know I'm not good with emotions," I looked up to him and smiled when I saw his face. He was looking at me with far too much adoration than normal and I guessed I had drank too much wine because I relished in it.
"Never said you were but I'm happy you're trying." He held me tighter. "Come up."
I shimmied up slightly so we were face to face. "I know you're proper or whatever. Proper fit but I- practice wasn't that fun with you moping around."
His eyebrows rose and he blinked a few times probably waiting for his brain to catch on to what I was saying. It took some time because Edward was an idiot but finally it started to kick in. "I wish Henry and Ted never came over."
