Haruki was quickly distracted when the same messenger came to him after training, handing him a heavy locked box and a letter. He left only one sentence.

After a ninety-degree bow, the messenger sharply turned and jogged off. He clearly still had other deliveries to make, judging by the shoulder bags hanging from him. Haruki, deciding not to trouble the guy, shut his curious mouth.
"Lanling~ Look, the king sent me something~"
Haruki quickly turned to Lanling, who had been walking by his side—an act that nearly melted Haruki into a puddle—and enthusiastically presented the box. Though it wasn't the box that made him cheerful, but the fact that he was spending time with Lanling.
