Rachel could see the Titans Group building from the floor-to-ceiling window in front of her.
Though it wasn't the tallest building in the city, it was the most prominent commercial structure. The dazzling "Titans" logo on the roof was even more transparent in the sunlight.
Jasper walked in from outside and saw Rachel's slender figure standing alone by the window.
She crossed her arms, quietly gazing at the world outside the window.
Hearing footsteps, Rachel snapped out of her thoughts. Jasper was already by her side. "Diana told me you didn't eat lunch."
Rachel turned to look at Jasper beside her. "You didn't go back to the company?"
"I was worried about you."
Jasper's voice was always so warm.
Rachel looked deeply into Jasper's eyes and said, "Jasper, I'm fine."
"Diana said you've been alone in your room for three hours."
"I just wanted some time alone."
