Because she wanted a better view of the area, she jumped to about half the height of the wall, then grabbed it with her left hand and propelled herself upwards.
The moment she appeared at the top of the wall, she had a better view. As such, she was able to fire more freely, now that she didn't have to worry about accidentally hitting one of her comrades.
