"Fifth are the temperature arrays. They ensure that every cage is an even temperature. This helps me combat the issue of introducing a fire chicken to the same cage as an ice chicken."

"So far, I have raised an Immortal Fire Chicken and a Spirit Poison Chicken with all mutations included. I'm most of the way to the Immortal Chaos Chicken but not quite."

Finished with his service, the short rooster waddled over and cocked his head.
"Su Ling will tell you her plans for the coop. Help her make sure they go through."
The rooster gave a short nod.
"Su Ling, thank you for your support." Looking at the operation, it was more than ten times bigger than it was when he had left. "Feel free to consider this your permanent sect job. I'm officially changing your contrated pay to thirty five percent, and, like I said, consider this your home when needed."
"I'm going to invite the man outside for a chat. Let me know if you need anything before I leave again."
"Thank you, junior brother." She muttered shyly as she kicked her feet against the ground.
Yin Kai gave her a short bear hug before rushing out the door.
He walked over to the gate and bowed to the man who was waiting.
"Martial Fist Temple Acolyte Yin Kai greets foreign emmissary!"
"Good, looks like you do have a conscience after all."
"A master must ensure his house is in order before inviting a guest from outside, no? Come in, come in. I have even better tea in my abode."

As he got up, Yin Kai took his cup and stored it and the bench back inside the Ancestral World. Opening his gate, he gestured for his guest to follow.
The wizened old man commented on the quiet, calming, and quaint atmosphere before sitting at the table on the first floor.
Grabbing Astral Rose Watermint tea mixed from the gardens of fhe Ancestral World, Yin Kai began to perform a tea ceremony.
Taking his new purple sectplate out, he set it on the table. The elder eyed it coolly.
They made lots of small talk before arriving at the main point.
"My name is Elder Fei Li of the Martial Beast Heaven Sect. I have been waiting for you on grounds that you have obtained a spirit beast that my sect is most interested in."
"Oh?"
"En. My sect is one that is known for its upright, honest, and righteous conduct, trade, and candor."
"You bought a Vermillion Bird from us. It now belongs to you. However, we have an urgent need for the bloodline of one of the great Pheonixes amongst our storied heritage."
"I am here to ask you what it will take to obtain this treasure."
"Mmm." Yin Kai murmured. "You heard of my recent time in an inheritance space, yes?"
"Indeed."
"You wish to see the Vermillion Bird."
"This is true."
Yin Kai reached into the Ancestral World. "Phoebe, make sure Caihong is decently clothed. I'd like to introduce her to the emissary from the Martial Beast Heaven Sect."
A few short moments later, Caihong was standing on the floor next to Yin Kai.
He reached for her waist and pulled her to his lap. "My Caihong is my woman. No matter what the Martial Beast Heaven Sect offers, I will never give her up."
The emmissary was stunned.
"…That being said," he added, "The Martial Beast Heaven Sect has many cultivation resources. Indeed, it would be helpful to our future progeny should they choose to live there."
