The room was filled with casual chatter as everyone relaxed, enjoying a rare moment of peace.
Acier Silva sipped her tea, glancing at Izuku and asked," How much prepared are you? Can you reach the top?"
Izuku straightened up at the question, his mind immediately kicking into overdrive. "W-Well, I've been training a lot! I've analyzed past Sports Festivals, broken down different combat scenarios, and improved my control over One For All! So, statistically speaking—"
Ditian chuckled, cutting him off. "Kid, she asked if you can reach the top, not for a research paper."
Izuku flushed slightly but quickly regained his composure. "Yes! I believe I can!"
Irene smirked, resting her chin on her hand. "Confidence is good, but actions matter more than words. Have you sparred against anyone at your peak yet?"
Izuku nodded. "I've been training with All Might and some of my classmates, but there's always room for improvement!"
Lily Potter gave him an encouraging smile. "Hard work pays off, Izuku. Just keep pushing forward."
All Might beamed with pride. "That's my boy! Keep that determined spirit alive!"
Bibi Dong, watching the exchange with amusement, suddenly smirked. "Speaking of competitions… why don't we have a certain someone join in?"
Seeing Bibi Dong's smile, Xuanyu had a bad feeling—one that was quickly confirmed as her smirk widened and she leaned forward, her tone playful but laced with amusement. "Why don't you participate in the U.A. Sports Festival, Xuanyu? It will be fun."
Xuanyu raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "Me? In a school competition? No thanks. I have better things to do."
That was all it took for the room to pounce.
Acier Silva smirked, crossing her arms. "Oh? What's wrong, Xuanyu? Afraid of a little friendly competition?"
Shisui chuckled, his sharingan gleaming with amusement. "That's right, you're always talking about being strong. Wouldn't this be a good chance to show everyone just how superior you are?"
Irene playfully rested her chin on her hand, her emerald eyes twinkling. "Maybe he's scared he'll get beaten by a bunch of kids."
Lily Potter, ever the warm presence, let out a light laugh. "Or maybe he just doesn't want to steal the spotlight from everyone else."
All Might, who had been quietly observing, let out a booming laugh. "Young Xuanyu! A true hero never backs down from a challenge! It would be truly inspiring to see someone of your talents participate."
Izuku blinked, caught off guard. "Uh… w-wait, Principal Nezu, are you serious?"
Nezu chuckled, his paws clasped together as he nodded. "Of course! It's not every day that we have such a unique guest. Besides, I'm sure your classmates will find it educational to meet someone of Xuanyu's caliber."
Xuanyu groaned, rubbing his temples. "You people are unbelievable." He shot a glare at Bibi Dong, who simply smiled innocently. "You planned this, didn't you?"
Bibi Dong sipped her tea, completely unfazed. "I have no idea what you're talking about."
Shisui smirked. "Come on, Xuanyu. Think of it as a learning experience for them."
Irene chuckled, resting her chin on her hand. "And for us. Watching their reactions will be very entertaining."
Lily Potter giggled. "It'll be fun, Xuanyu. Just go with it."
All Might clapped a firm hand on Xuanyu's shoulder, grinning. "That's the spirit! Off you go!"
Xuanyu let out a deep sigh before shooting a look at Izuku. "Well? You leading the way, or are we just going to stand here all day?"
Izuku, still processing everything, nodded quickly. "R-Right! This way!"
Acier smirked. "Those kids have no idea what's about to hit them."
Nezu's chuckle was almost mischievous. "Oh, this will be quite the spectacle."
Just as Xuanyu stood to move out, Albedo also stood up. Seeing her Xuanyu paused and ordered," You stay with others here, only observe things from the spectators room."
Albedo frowned slightly but nodded. "Understood," she said, though there was a hint of reluctance in her voice.
Xuanyu gave her a brief nod before turning back to Izuku. "Let's get this started," he said, his eyes flashing with anticipation.
Izuku nodded.
-----
Along the way, Xuanyu grumbled under his breath as he wore the U.A gym shirt provided by Izuku. "I can't believe this… dragged into some school event… What a waste of time…"
Izuku, walking beside him, was fidgeting slightly before finally gathering the courage to ask, "Um, Xuanyu, if you don't mind me asking… what's your Quirk?"
Xuanyu gave him a sidelong glance. "Who said I have one?"
Izuku blinked, processing the answer before realization struck him. "Wait—ah! You're not from our world, so that means Quirks don't exist where you come from?" His muttering kicked into overdrive. "But then—how did he get so powerful? If Quirks aren't a thing, does that mean his abilities come from an alternative evolutionary path? Or maybe external enhancements? No, no, that wouldn't explain his reaction speed—or his combat instincts—unless he underwent some kind of intense training from a young age—"
Xuanyu sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I already regret this conversation."
Izuku, too deep in his analysis, didn't notice. "Or maybe it's something completely different? Could his strength be derived from a mystical energy source unique to his world? Wait—what if it's a form of innate power similar to a Quirk but developed through a different system of evolution? Or perhaps—"
Xuanyu finally cut in, his tone dry. "Breathe, nerd. You're going to pass out."
Izuku abruptly stopped, exhaling sharply. "R-Right, sorry! But still—how did you get so strong?"
Xuanyu smirked slightly, his golden eyes glinting with amusement. "Partial hard work, partial talent, and the last bit… is cheating."
Izuku nearly stumbled. "C-Cheating? Wait—what do you mean by cheating?! Are you saying you have some kind of external power boost? A hidden ability? A—"
Xuanyu let out a chuckle. "Relax, nerd. Not that kind of cheating." He folded his arms. "Let's just say I had access to things most people wouldn't. That, combined with my own efforts and natural talent, made me who I am."
Izuku's eyes narrowed as he absorbed Xuanyu's words. "Access to things most people wouldn't…" His mind raced. Does he mean some kind of advanced technology? Special training? Or maybe an ancient power source? But if his world doesn't have Quirks, then…
Xuanyu could practically see the gears turning in Izuku's head. He sighed. "You're going to overthink this, aren't you?"
Izuku snapped out of his thoughts. "S-Sorry! It's just—your power is fascinating! If people from your world can get this strong without Quirks, then it changes so many things about what we understand regarding human potential—"
Xuanyu waved him off. "Yeah, yeah, keep your excitement in check. We're here."
Izuku blinked before realizing they had arrived at Class 1-A's resting area.
Taking a deep breath, he pushed open the door. "Uh… guys? We have a visitor."
The room fell silent as all eyes turned toward them, curiosity and confusion filling the air.
