{Timeline: Douluo Dalu 2, Beginning}
In the depth of a great forest, a young and thin malnourished looking boy with a cute yet tired face with black hair and blue eyes wearing tattered and patched up clothes stood.
In front of the boy, there was a huge white worm with ten golden circles on its body while somehow looking cute and adorable rather than scary and it was emitting cold air from its body that frosted the surroundings, making the tired boy's body be covered with a thin layer of frost.
"First off, let me introduce myself. I am the embodiment of heroism and chivalry! A king of kings amongst soul beasts, who is both equally smart and good-looking! I'm an absolute expert, one who has cultivated for a million years! I'm the Skydream Iceworm who's set the record for the longest lifespan in the Douluo Continent! You can call me Brother Skydream!" Said the silkworm
"And I! Have chosen you to become this Brother's and the world's first ever intelligent Soul Ring owner!" It said as it suddenly put it's forehead against the boy's forehead and it's body turned into golden particles and the ten golden rings on its body also merged into the boy.
"Too weak! This body is too weak and pitiful!" Skydream said while merging into the boy's body.
Suddenly, the sky began to darken as a thunder echoed pressure that would make even the strongest Humans and Spirit Beasts kneel appeared as a gray mass of air also entered the body of the now unconscious boy.
"Who dares! You dare to fight with me for a person?!" Skydream yelled even though he was a bit terrified and used spiritual power to attack the gray mass.
An illusionary and blurry figure appeared behind the boy and a aged and powerful voice echoed across the area "The hand grasps the sun and moon, and also plucks the stars; This world has no one like me. I didn't think that this old man would have a trace of a remnant spirit left that still existed here."
The vague and illusionary figure then dissipated and merged into the boy's body while being unaffected by Skydream's attack.
Suddenly, before the dark sky even began to clear, an even more terrifying pressure spread throughout the entire forest area and even the whole world seemed to feel the pressure as a bolt of pitch black thunder mixed with blood red struck the boy.
"AHHHH!" Skydream screamed in panic as he had just finished merging with the boy and the lightning struck the boy as a ethereal voice that carried infinite power echoed through his mind
"God? No, I'm the One Who Goes against The Gods! I am #??#73! And you! You shall be my successor!"
The voice rang as suddenly, the boy's eyes opened to show his original blue eyes suddenly turned blood red and his black and slightly blue hair turned pitch black like the deepest depths of the void.
[????? Successor System has been bound!] A mechanical and emotionless voice echoed in his mind as Skydream shivered and the gray mass of air that was now in the shape of a ball also trembled slightly.

[Innate Soul Power upgraded to Level 30!] The voice rang out as the boy's body trembled slightly as he truly woke up, his eyes now a blood red shone in the sunlight like crimson rubies as he suddenly sat up while taking deep and panicked breaths.
"Who!?" He yelled as he looked around in confusion and panic as he heard the mechanical voice, first a silkworm merges with him and then he hears such a weird sound and someone telling him he's their successor.
"You're awake! I didn't expect you to be so lucky!" Skydream said in his mind as he looked around in confusion "Who's there?!" The boy asked warily.
Suddenly, he felt a tug in his mind as his body was pulled into a wide and empty white area with ten golden light balls hanging in the sky with a gray ball in the centre of it all.
He looked to the side to see a young boy who looked delicate and cute wearing a yellow and blue clothes "What? Are you shocked by this brother's handsomeness?" Asked the delicate looking boy.
"Brother Skydream?" The boy asked hesitantly as the delicate boy nodded "Yeah! Your name's Huo Yuhao, right?" Skydream said as Yuhao nodded.
"Where are we?" Yuhao asked as he looked at the surrounding space in confusion as Skydream smiled "We're in your mental space! It's basically your mind's form." Skydream said.
"I didn't expect you to be so lucky as to suddenly get blessed by a God and get an Inheritance to boot!" Skydream said happily.
From what Skydream could understand, the voice that could make even his soul tremble from the deepest parts were only Gods, he had just wanted to gamble his life and try make a God, who could understand that the person you chose was suddenly given a ticket to definitely become a God.
"God?" Yuhao said as suddenly, his now crimson eyes flashes with a tinge of gold as the mechanical voice rang out again.

Suddenly, the entire mental space of Yuhao began to twist slightly as a crimson humanoid form with pitch black wing structure like the void itself merged into Yuhao's body as the wings covered the boy like a cocoon.
"Yuhao! Are you okay?!" Skydream shouted in a panic as the wings slowly dissipated around Yuhao, merging into his body.
The mental space was suddenly dyed a pure white which then turned blood red as Skydream shivered in fear due to the weird phenomenon.
"Y-yuhao?" Skydream called Yuhao while trembling a bit as Yuhao opened his eyes, the deep crimson eyes that somehow seemed to stare deep into his soul made Skydream shiver once again but the feeling was reduced when Yuhao blinked.
"Brother Skydream.....I feel like I got stronger." Yuhao said as Skydream's eyes twitched 'If you didn't get stronger after that feeling like my soul was being trampled, I'll change my last name to Di!' Skydream complained internally.
"Yuhao..... did you...uh, hear that weird voice?" Skydream asked as Yuhao nodded "Yeah, Brother Skydream. It called itself the Successor System...I think?" Yuhao said a bit uncertain as suddenly, a blood red panel appeared infront of Yuhao, startling both Yuhao and Skydream.
