As Linda was lost in thought, she heard Kevin's hoarse voice that brought her back to reality.
" are you ok "
Kevin asked. She wiped her tears that were continuing to flow nonstop and she looked at Kevin. Instead of answering him she quickly walked to him and said in an anxious tone that almost sounded like pleading at the same time.
" okay Kevin, I know you cannot forgive me but let's get out of here and find a safe place to talk. I feel nauseated by this place "
Kevin gave her a " are you normal " stare and said
" who are you to tell me where to go. If you feel nauseated by this place, you are free to go. Also there is nothing to talk about between us. "
Linda felt really scared this time upon hearing Kevin's words. She turned her head around desperately racking her brains on how to lure Kevin out. The police would be here in a few minutes and she feared the outcome if they don't get out of there. She had just reunited with her brother and again she was going to put him in trouble, how could she accept that. She said again
" Kevin please try and understand me. This place feels very nauseating and all that why don't you follow me out so we can talk about this on peace "
This time her voice was more like a pleading and she even reached out to hold the sleeves of his white shirt desperately. But there was also a question lingering in her mind " what was Kevin doing here in the first place " But she couldn't bring herself to ask the question for fear of the awaiting answer. Kevin on the other hand finally sensed something off on her behaviour. He was not a fool and had been in this work for years and eventually he gilet the hint. Suddenly his eyes darkened and he begun to emit a terrifying aura. He roared furiously
" YOU CALLED THE POLICE"
He angrily pushed Linda again but not too hard for fear of hurting her child. Linda didn't fall this time and was able to maintain her balance. She stared at him in astonishment. Not missing the tone of his voice. His tone was mixed with different feelings all together. Disbelief, anger and even betrayal. Linda felt her whole body stiffen like a bucket to cold water had been poured over her. Her tears cascaded more uncontrollably and she tried to explain herself
" no, no Kevin please it is not what you're thinking. I....I... "
But Kevin interrupted her before she could talk in an angry tone.
" how dare you "
Linda felt helpless and tried to explain herself. Had she known the outcome of her casual action, she would have never done it
" Please don't misunderstand me.... I, had no idea. I...I... "
Again Kevin interrupted her. He laughed sarcastically and said terrifyingly
" hahahaaa, Linda I can't believe you. First your random excuse was you had no choice and now you had no idea. Can't you find any convincing excuses "
Linda felt like digging a hole and burying herself in at that moment. She felt really ashamed of herself. Right who would believe these words she had just spoken. Had she not been the one saying them. She herself wouldn't have believed them. She knew Kevin was really annoyed this time. And Kevin was. He just founded it very difficult to believe her words. She had done nothing but causing a whole lot of problem for him. In the past she had left him in a sea of problem. Now they just met and the first thing she got to do was to find a problem for him. (Tiger was Kevin's code name )
Perhaps because of the sudden situation, he couldn't form any coherent word and he would have to stop midway yo catch his breath. Kevin frowned deeply knowing what he was about to say and impatiently asked

He just knew he shouldn't have asked that question. He just blurted it out without thinking. How he wish Ron was here so he would be the one to deal with Kevin. Then Kevin begun to give out his orders professionally after some few minutes
" inform everyone to meet ne at the 4th emergency room. Tell them to make sure they bring with them all the necessary weapons and essential goods. Nothing must be left behind. Then tell them yo also activate the 20 minutes explosives. They should place them at the important places and quickly move to the third emergency room. I want to see everyone there "

He had been surprised by Kevin's words at the beginning but quickly understood him. Whenever any of thier hideout is discovered, Kevin would make sure that the said place is completely destroyed before the police arrived. This was a method was taken to sure that they wouldn't leave any valuable information about themselves behind and therefore hindering the police from getting any information about them. Kevin had thought everything through, telling them to activate the 20 minutes explosives was to also annihilate all the police officers last they stop them at the " bidding way". The man quickly went and it seems he had not noticed Linda at all.
Kevin took out his phone and packed his valuable items into his bag. Then he hung Ed it on his shoulders and looked at the room in pity. What a shame, she had taken a liking in the room. Too bad it has to be destroyed. He turned and walked away. But before he could get out, he heard Linda's timid voice. He gritted his teeth in anger. He had totally forgotten about her but didn't want to hear her voice either
" ke....Kevin wh...what about me. Are you going to leave me h.....here "
Kevin sneered inwardly. He wanted to say
" you came here on your own. Use that same way to get our on your own. This has nothing to do with me "
But instead what came out of his tongue was
" you can still stay here if you have a death wish. I have no problem with that "
Arrrrgh, he cursed his mouth and felt that now his own mouth had betrayed him. But he knew he couldn't bring himself to di that. Had it been any other day, he wouldn't have thinked twice and would have told her to find a way herself but Linda was pregnant and that pregnancy had surely saved her.
Linda on the other hand almost screamed in joy. Although Kevin said it indirectly, it still meant the same. He was giving her the chance to follow them.
