 [ Chapter III (3): "THOUGHTS" ]

To the untrain eye i.e to those who don't have affinity with magic, the building that is slightly away from the others; the building that looks like a hunted house in the way it is presented, to them it'll appear as nothing but that. Abandoned.

Then they would be gravely mistaken.

You see with magic everything is plausible. It could be via making dreams come true, changing the form of others to appear like someone else, to make something levitate in the air, to clean a messy room with one simple swing of a stick— plus intent.

Like I said before, everything is possible with magic.

And to hide a spacious school inside a decrepit building is one of those said things that magic can do— how truly, wonderful.

 [ CREEK ]

Felix who's smiling to himself opens the door for his home, the wooden door that is about to die, creaking. And what greeted him when he did so was... Nothing.

Nothing except rubbish, old furniture that is covered by dust, see-through roof with puddles of water forming not so far under it, cobwebs on the corner of the room; with a demonic-looking spider hunched on the corner.

And finally worse of it all; rats scattering from one-end to another. [ "Damn it..." ] There is a reason why the building owner easily sold the house to him, that is because it is beyond redeemable; built on shaky ground.

Bad history; someone died here from what he heard through little rumors. And lastly because the building owner thought Felix to be a weirdo, easy to scam, and so the man happily sold the house to him who just kept nodding his head— happy on the inside, and on the outside, as he now has a base of operation.

To the building owner he sold a useless piece of building, and the small land it stood on; making him happy. Now to Felix, he bought a building, bought land— for the first time really, and to him who doesn't value money at the moment; mainly because he can easily earn them, to him having a base of operation for his school is the most important of it all.

And so he was able to get one.

He just really hates the rat it comes with.

 [ "peTRIficus toTAHlus...!" ]

Pulling his wand from his suit's pocket, Felix then aimed it at one of the rats that stopped to look around on its surroundings. A breeze effect seeped out from his wand, before disappearing, and then with seconds later— the said rat could be seen frozen mid-action, before falling on the wooden floor below with a slight thud.

The spell that he has just cast is called the Full Body-Bind Curse. Useful in capturing something alive— with it working for both inanimate and living organisms— in this case, the latter.

Sighting to himself, Felix then walked to where the frozen stiff rat is, the other rats near the vicinity scampering away when noticing the gigantic figure of his— to them that is.

[ "Why is it, that I told you guys..." ]

[ "Oh no, wait, you look familiar." ]

Slowly lifting up the scared rat, who can't move. He then began observing it, not caring about the fact that the said rat is blackened due to garbage, and wet due to trash soup.

No, what Felix is more interested in is the scar trailing down from the rat's cheek. With him remembering the story behind it. Funnily enough, it was caused by one annoyed orange cat that gave chase to a certain rat— damaging the rat, right in front of Felix; he can't believe this guy is still alive.

[ "Okay, uhh- you're free to go, I guess..." ]

Lowering the rat on the floor boards below, Felix after rising up and having cleaned his hand via his trousers, he then cast the nullifying charm for the said spell.

This caused the frozen stiff rat to finally be able to move again. Now, the first thing it did with its freedom is to run the hell away, not daring to look back for a single second on the weird man that kept on intruding on the rat's— and the rat's family's house.

Nonetheless, after it gets back home to its colony it'll spread the word to run away from the man whenever they see him. That, or be frozen stiff due to reasons not known. [ SQUEAK ]

 [ "Huh, weird rat." ]

Felix mutters to himself, shaking his head in amusement for the said rat's antics, before finally focusing his attention elsewhere. To a random wall— it being mostly covered with a sunflower wallpaper, it slowly peeling away due to old age.

 [ "Yes...!" ]

Excited, he walks up to the wall, facing it, at the point of almost kissing it even. But no, no matter how lonely Felix is, he isn't that lonely to kiss a wall— especially one that looks like it's thousands of years old.

No, the reason why he stared at the wall to the point of kissing it, is because of him having gotten used to it. Don't make it seem awkward, no, he is doing this so that he may open up a secret passageway to somewhere else.

You see, to people who don't know the combination and don't have a wand, they wouldn't be able to see what lies ahead of the wall— unless someone who knows of the combination to open it, and have a wand, shows them. But as of now, only Felix fulfills that criteria.

Preparing his wand, he then taps it to the side of the wall, then at the bottom, then slowly it trails upward in a lightning shape manner. Before lastly walking back one step, then going on the tip of his toes, before finally clicking the topmost part of the wall with his wand... [ "Here, there, there, heeereee. There." ]

The words aren't necessary, but whenever he does this ritual, he says that to easily remember where to press, and where to trail, and when to press. And all of that leads to... Noth- the wall in front of him folding bit-by-bit without human intervention.

This act lasted for a few seconds, with Felix looking at it closely, not getting bored in seeing it happen every single time. Before finally, a double wooden door presented itself to him, for Felix to open. And what lies behind it, is simply Hogwarts.

He with a sight tucks away his wand, to the inner pocket of his suit. Before then clutching the handles for the door in front of him, single hand for each handle. [ "..." ]

Slightly hesitating last minute when he realized that if he did walk through this, then he'll most likely get into a debate with a certain witch— or get reprimanded— or get scolded— or get complained at.

Any of those options not sounding likeable to his ear. But in knowing the ups for what he was about to do; set up an owlery, create owls, create letters, have them be delivered in the doorsteps of each and every single one of the future students.

Then the likely for someone to faint from being scared, the likely for someone not to throw something at Felix, the likely for someone not to panic will lessen.

Because there'll be a warning beforehand; for them to take it seriously, or as nothing but a tasteless joke, doesn't matter to him as he really needs students at the moment; and he isn't kidding when he says that he'll climb any windows a day later after the said family receives the letter— game is game.

At the first place he should have done this and not scare kind old ladies by teleporting inside their houses. His fault for not thinking, or even listening to a certain someone, blame him.

But the thought of that said someone actually being correct in the first place doesn't sit well with him. It erks him, but at the moment this said plan sounds the best for him. Especially in how he'll have to visit hundreds of hundreds of houses throughout the world, a warning would do best to prepare them; [ "Damn it, she's actually right..." ]

[ AN: I just graduated from HIGH SCHOOL, BABY! Thought you ought to know. And yeah, uhh, I wrote this under an hour, because I was tired from my Graduation Rites, so, yeah. Oh, and this story is just basically my incoherent thoughts trying to make a story, hope you like that kind of stories. ]
