"Blue…red…green…orange! Dante! You can at least use some sort of fire skill right!? Try to hit one of the kobolds into the orange one!"
"Uh–right!" Dante yelled as he focused on an attacking kobold. It jumped into the air to slash at Dante who took a step back, twisting his body to catch the kobold with the swing of his sword.
"KRA–!?" the kobold screamed as the sudden impact of the swing stunned the creature before it felt it's body slowly begin to lift on the blade.
"Have a nice…flight…!" he yelled as he swung his sword, flinging the kobold into the air. It let out a cry before falling down to the area with the approaching mushrooms and kobolds. It fell quickly onto the orange mushroom within the group, causing a spark to ignite before exploding on impact. Creating a chain reaction of explosions in front of the group, clearing the way to the next door.
"How did you know that would happen!?" Jarrett yelled out to Nolan who began to wipe off the sweat from his forehead as he dispelled his spell as there were no more monsters to be sensed.
"It's basic Monster knowledge. Orange mushrooms explode on blunt impact, often causing many injuries to first time adventurers. Did you read the modules…?"
"I–uh, so what if I didn't. That was pure luck and you know it!"
"No, it was our partner's accuracy that could be applauded, what a swing!"
The crowd began to scream in excitement at the spectacle of the group's combined effort, watching the silhouette of Dante amongst the flames caused an uproar. This is what the people had been waiting for, from plans to execution, the high level of coordination being shown from Azuri's team had shined in these encounters.
"What a finish! Not only from the direct planning of team captain Azuri Monterose, but the execution of each member on the team, they've completed the first phase of the Dungeon Walk, blistering efficiency! What a show!~" Kina yelled as the roars continued from the crowd. Professor Manor looked at the screen with a serene focus, watching as Dante was shown in the silhouette of the flames from the explosion. He slowly caressed his chin with his hand as he scoffed to himself, seemingly pleased with what he saw.
"I knew there was more to you than that…but what else can you do, Dovetail?"
His eyes averted to Kina who seemed to be speaking at a speed he'd never seen before as she moved over to cover everything else that was happening within the dungeon. The screen showed Rowan's team making way within the dungeon at a similar pace. Efficiently and actively taking out any monsters appearing within their path.
"Rowan's team seem to be keeping a steady pace as they've also reached the end of Phase 1 in this Dungeon Walk, with these two teams leading, who do you think will make their way to Phase 2 first? Only one way to find out!~"
