On December 20th, large flakes of snow began to drift down upon Heming Mountain.
Halfway up the mountain, a newly constructed gatehouse stood. Four large characters were elegantly inscribed upon it: Heavenly Master's Righteous Path.
This was the Mountain Sect Gate that Gongzi Yuu had only started building after assuming the role of Sect Leader, and it was not yet entirely completed. Nonetheless, it already looked more magnificent and grandiose than the previous one.
Eight disciples of the Heavenly Master Sect patrolled in pairs, dividing themselves into east, south, west, and north directions, crossing paths as they went.
"This damned weather, why would it start snowing out of nowhere? It's freezing to death!" one disciple complained as he shook off the snow accumulating on him.
A minor leader among them began to scold: "Sun Er, don't slack off. Patrol properly to avoid surprise attacks!"
