"Are we there yet?" Alice groaned, following behind Thelma while still carrying the clean dead body on her shoulder.
"Yeah, just around the corner."
"Isn't that what you said earlier? Are you l— oh, there actually is a corner." She could see a wall before them, as the path curved to the right.
"Uh, and why wouldn't there be one. Let's hurry before the patrols return." Thelma informed, disappearing from her line of view.
'Pa— pa— patrols!' She could barely believe the words she'd just heard. "Why are they here? Hey wait for me."

'We're close, she sure did get use to being the beast she is— hah.'
"Hey Thelly, haa...mind telling me why patrols are here? Isn't it a secret." Alice inquired, gasping for breath after having closed the stretching distance between them.
"Uh, to guard the area from—"
"Yeah, yeah yeah...people like me of course, I get it. But won't they, you know— no longer make it a secret."
"The beast? It isn't much of a secret around here though."
