Zoey moved through the mansion grounds, observing the quiet place. Guards stood at the top of the walls, keeping a lookout while even more guards stood at the outside and inside of the mansion grounds.
'It's cold, but I can handle it.' Zoey thought, feeling the night breeze bite on her skin.
"Miss Zoey? What brings you here?" A guard at the gate asked.
"Grant me passage." Zoey ordered, noticing how the guard wanted to say something, probably stop her, but ultimately decided against it.
The gates opened with a loud creek, and Zoey walked through, exiting the mansion grounds.
