Chapter 83
"Darn that crazy Licht! I promise, if I get out of this situation alive, I'm going to burn and electrocute him to a crisp," Grey shouted in anger.
"That is, if you can do that," Noir laughed in Grey's mind—just as the Echidas, without warning, dashed toward him at frightening speed.
"Shit!" Grey cursed, instinctively preparing to leap back, but stopped as he remembered the elves behind him. With no other option, he made his move.
"Earth Magic! Earth Wall!" he called out, and a massive wall surged up from the ground, slamming into place and blocking the Echidas' path. From behind it, pounding thuds echoed loudly.
'This wall won't hold for much longer, and I can't fight properly while protecting these two. Logically, I need to get them to safety... but there's nowhere safe right now,' he thought grimly as a chunk of the Earth Wall crumbled.
"Miss Elf Lady, do you trust me?" Grey asked, turning to the older elf, who was shielding her daughter.
