Lilia missed a step, but Zethan, a step ahead, caught her and held her steady as they continued their dance. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise as she whispered,
"Oh my, Zethan… what makes you say that?"
Her tone was soft, almost like she was responding to something forbidden. Zethan remained silent for a moment before finally speaking.
He looked so serious, as if he had been thinking about it for a while.
"If we have children, you might not have time for me anymore. And I want you to have at least a little time for your husband."
Lilia knew her husband too well—when he said 'a little time,' he didn't actually mean little.
Lilia paused, then smiled softly as the realization dawned on her.
"Of course, I'll have time for you, honey. Why wouldn't I?" she said gently.
"I want lots of kids, remember? You're the one who said you wanted quadruplets. And now you're saying you don't want any at all. That hurts."
