A dark figure, contrasting with the greyish fog, walked through the fog. Its body was blurred, but it was large.
Roughly the same size as the Beetle itself. It was also wide and had multiple spindly limbs on either side of its body that pushed it through the fog.
The ground shook slightly at its imminent arrival.
Lillian gritted her teeth and crawled from under the Beetle. She then used the Odachi as a crutch to push herself up before pointing it towards the large entity.
Her eyes narrowed when a part of it finally came into view. The thing that broke through the wall of fog was a long, thin leg made of black chitin.
It was similar to the Beetle's in a way, except it seemed less made for stabbing and puncturing prey. And also the fact it had a frightening amount of joints.
It made it seem like some kind of rope rather than a leg due to how limp it looked. Lillian waited and watched as another leg arrived through the fog.
