Elia felt like she had the worst luck one could have. How else could this be explained? Here she sat with her arms bound and mouth taped while her kidnappers drove her somewhere. The day she thought of as her new beginning quickly turned into a new nightmare that she couldn't afford. Just an hour ago she was on her way to attend a job interview when someone knocked her unconscious.
And once she regained consciousness, she found herself in a moving car, and its destination unknown. She just hoped it was not somewhere she was about to get killed or worse...sold. Elia had heard about the horrors women go through when they are kidnapped and felt fear course through her veins.
Why was this happening to her? Why was this happening to her just when she decided to change and live her life? Elia has lived her life till now only for the sake of others; she did everything for her family and the one she loved. She finally managed to break free from that toxic curse and for what? To get kidnapped and end up dead somewhere? Hell no!
Elia refused to let her life end like this. She would fight till the end even if it meant this was her last day. She would end it on her own accord but that was only when there was no other way out. For now, she decided to focus on her escape. Her first step was observing her surroundings, and once again, fear gripped her when she realized that she was surrounded by multiple men...Five men to be more clear. Two of them sat by either of her sides, the third one was driving the vehicle while another one sat beside him. And the fifth one sat right before her while he glared at her. This was more like a van than a car. A kidnapping van at that.
Her spirit died down faster than it came when she came to the dire conclusion that she couldn't escape. Even if she somehow managed to get out of the car, the speed at which it was moving would kill her. Elia felt despair like never before due to her current predicament.
She was just about to succumb to her fate but froze when she felt something touching her inner thighs. She shakingly looked down and found hands maneuvering, suggestively caressing her thighs. The culprit was blatant in his actions like he had nothing to fear.
"Just enjoy it, baby. I know you want it." Elia felt beyond repulsed seeing his sleazy face and hearing his vulgar words, but there was nothing she could do in protest other than try to move away from him, making it difficult for him to touch her.
Desperate tears streamed down her cheeks as she tried her hardest to stop the violation that was happening to her.
"Andrew, enough" Elia vaguely heard a voice that made the man stop his endeavors on her thigh, "She isn't your plaything, I will have you answering Alpha if something goes wrong"
Andrew laughed at that, "You think Alpha will care about her? He cares about nothing. I don't think he would mind me having some fun." Then he smirked at Elia, "Right, Darling?"
The man beside the driver turned around. He had dark brown hair and piercing Grey eyes. The anger in his eyes was very clear even though she was distraught. He glared at Andrew as he said, "Leave her." The warning in his tone was undeniable, "Now!"
As soon as he said that, Elia felt everything around her coming to a still. Andrew quickly withdrew his hands from her thighs and the silence in the car grew chilling. The ones that were taunting and looking at her with lustful eyes turned away and avoided touching her.
Elia shakingly looked at the man who had saved her. Maybe he didn't let her go completely but what he did do was something she would never forget. She wanted to laugh at herself, was she so stressed that now she was thankful for her kidnapper? It was clear that he was the one in charge here. The others followed his orders and left her alone. So could they have really abducted her without his permission? She doubted it. Now was not the time to become soft just because he saved her momentarily. Maybe he was doing this to follow the orders of his higher-ups, the lesser evil did not mean he was not evil.
Just like that, Elia came to a conclusion while the car moved. Soon, it stopped, and once again, her nerves went on alert as the men started to shuffle out of the car while she, too, was ushered out with her hands still bound.
Elia roamed her eyes around her surroundings and found a dungeon? It looked like a dungeon, she was not exaggerating. The place looked straight out of a fantasy movie with dark interiors and had an eerie ambiance to it. This place was definitely not a modern one. Elia felt like hyperventilating; she was about to die. What other reason would they have to take her here to this place that looked like an abandoned building that normal people avoided?
Elia felt her knees buckle in fear. Her body refused to move further which angered her one of her captors.
Andrew glared at her like she had wronged him somehow before yanking her hair which set her scalp on fire.
"Get moving, whore! We don't have all day!" He yelled as he ripped the tape covering her mouth making Elia cry out in pain. She quickly glanced around and groaned when she didn't see the man who had put Andrew in his place before in the car.
And as though reading her mind, Andrew asked, "Searching for Liam?" He mocked her, "He left a while ago. You really are a whore wanting to use man to save yourself" he pulled her closer with his lips against her ear, "Human whore. I will rip your head out and eat your guts once the Alpha is done with you." With that, he roughly pushed her away before dragging her somewhere with her hair between his fingers.
Elia whimpered in pain. She couldn't figure out why she was being treated like this. Andrew looked at her like she was someone beneath him. And he called her a human whore. What did that mean? Was he not a human then? That thought spiraled uncontrollably in her mind leading to one thing. The incident in the club a few days ago came raging. The Feral man, his fangs, claws....they weren't some figment of her imagination. No...it was real. What Elia saw that day was very real. That man and these people were not human beings.
Lena had told her to forget everything like it never happened and Elia was about to do just that until now. She was here in the clutches of these beings with no escape route. The best she could do now was accept her reality and make plans to get out of here as soon as possible before she got killed.
Elia looked at the rope bounding her hands. There was no way she could untie them but she could run. She would do just that when the right time comes. These beings kept on mentioning someone known as Alpha. It seemed like the latter was the one that ordered them to kidnap her. They wouldn't kill her for now...not until they meet this Alpha.
"Alpha" As on cue, Elia heard the men around her say. Andrew left her hair and straightened up as though he was greeting someone. Through pain and wariness, Elia dared to look up at her real abductor, and what she saw made her stumble back in terror.
"Alpha?" The men around her asked as though they couldn't believe what they were seeing, "Alpha, Samuel? Are you alright?"
But the reply they got for all their fussing was one word. The man in the grey blazer and raven Black hair, the man that others called Alpha, said one word.
"Mate"
Elia tried to move away. She wanted to run as fast as she could from this place. These men were not normal, she had to run.
"Oh my goodness" a terrified whisper left her lips when she saw Samuel rushing to her like someone possessed. It was repeating again.
The Feral man in that club and this man right now were the same. He had the same look in his eyes. Protrouded claws and fangs that looked useful in ripping her out if he wanted.
"Mate," Elia felt chills down her spine when she heard him say that unfamiliar word that seemed to carry so much meaning to everyone around her. But not her. She was not one of them and never wanted to become one.
Her kidnappers now looked at her like she was some kind of unicorn. Andrew's gaze, in particular, unnerved her like no other. The one that looked like she was a bug underneath his shoe before, now looked at her as though she was his salvation. What was this madness!?
